"What the hell, Jake?! We just lost September, and all you're concerned about is you slutty little girlfriend!" Jinxx yelled
"She is NOT a slut you asshole! And I am concerned about September but she's okay, she's with CC!" He defended
"It doesn't matter whether or not she's with CC or not, what matters is the fact that she is not here, where she's supposed to be! You know David is-"
"Shut the fuck up!" Andy chimed in. "September is amazing and you hurt her, you told all of us the you dumped Kacy three months ago!"
"I don't have to tell you guys everything that happens in my love life but if you nosy bastards must know, I got back with Kacy about a month ago! Before September and David showed up!" Jake screamed above the rambling caused by the others.
"Jake, you need to fix this and you had better make the right choice this time, just be glad CC was a good enough friend to both you and September to do what he did. Without him who knows where she could be. It's him you need to thank and her you need to console. You have to choose, Kacy or September. Remember, you can't have them both." I said calmly.
Knowing that the calm remark was a dismissal to the rest, Andy stormed away shooting Jake a glare before walking out of the bus, grabbing his cigarettes and lighter and slamming the door behind him. Jinxx rolled his eyes and went to his bunk, closing the curtain with a jerk. I went to the kitchen to grab some water and sat down on the couch. Jake soon followed and sat at the other end and drew in a sharp breath. It was obvious he was holding back tears because his eyes were red and his hands were trembling.
"Ashley, would you hate me if I told you I would pick Kacy over September?" He asked, looking at his hands and then back up at me.
"Well I would tell you to think real hard about your decision before you see September again. And make sure you love Kacy as much as you say you do before you chose. You see, Jake, I'm not going to impose on your choices, I'm just going to make sure you know the consequences of each choice, you know I love you man. We're a family and September has joined that family. She's only been with us for six days and we've bonded with her so much. David isn't going to be happy with you, CC won't forgive easily, Andy hold grudges, Jinxx isn't very happy with you either, and as for me. I just hope things work out for the best."
"Thanks man, can you go make sure Andy's okay? He kinda stormed out earlier" He said.
"Yeah man, no problem" I smiled, walking out the door only to see Andy pacing back and forth with a cigarette in his right hand and the other shoved in his pocket, his hood pulled over his head.
"Andy, you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine Ash, it's just.... September is like part of the group now, I mean....." He trailed off
"Yeah I know and I just had a talk with Jake and we have established that he loves Kacy and is most likely going to choose her. Given that September even wants anything to do with him anyway"
He sighed knowingly.... "Figures..... well I guess Kacy isn't bad. She was always supporting Jake before and she never asked for anything or lied to us or him. But September" He said, letting tears build up in his eyes at the end. He quickly blinked them away and brought me in for a hug.
"God Ashley, where would we be without you?"
"I don't know but I'm glad you have me, I love you Andy"
"I love you too Ashley"
