Done for You
Rebel Love
Andy
"Boo!" I shouted, as if I was coming out from the bunks area.
"Oh, hey, where were you?" he asked.
"I was just laying down in my bunk for a few minutes." I said giving a fake smile.
"Oh, okay then......" He said, pulling September in for a hug.
I glared at Jake and walked to fridge and grabbed a beer and climbed into my bunk.
I just kissed the girl my best friend is in love with! She clearly loves him back!
Why did I kiss her?
Dammit I don't even have real feelings for her!
Jake is like my brother and he would never do anything to purposely hurt me, so I'm not going to do anything to hurt him. He doesn't need to know about the kiss. Besides, technically they aren't dating yet.
WAIT!
That's it!
They aren't dating! If I can get September to forget about me liking her then Jake will have no chance of getting mad! And if he does I can always just say It was an accedent and that they weren't really dating right then! Wait.... that's dumb!
"Agh fuck!" I groaned a little to loud due to frustration.
"You okay in they bud?" I heard Ashley's voice.
"Ye-Yeah I'm good" I lied
"Is it cool to open the curtain?" He asked.
"Um, yeah" I said hesitantly as he slid the curtain open, peeking his head in.
"Hey man, c-can I talk to you?" He asked, sounding a little upset.
"We're about to be at the venue in about 15 minutes sooo" he trailed off.
"Um, yeah. We can go for a walk or something, no problem" I suggested, a smile of sudden relief ran across his face.
"Kay" He said, walking away.
Well that was odd.
*15 minutes later*
The guys and September had gotten off the bus to grab something to eat and have a couple drinks, leaving Ashley and I alone. 'They're probably going to get wasted tonight so we really don't need to worry about getting back soon or anything.' I thought to myself.
"You coming?" Ashley called from the front of the bus.
"Yeah, let me grab my jacket" I answered, grabbing the leather jacket with "Rebel Love" inscribed on the back. Ashley had gotten it for me on my birthday two years ago.
"Ready?"
"Yep" I smiled as we walked off the bus.
We walked quite a ways from the bus in complete silence. I looked at the ground as I walked next to him. The cool fall air surrounded me. I could feel his eyes on me every once and a while, inching closer.
We stopped at an old-ish looking park about a half a mile from the venue.
"Um Ashley? What did you want to talk about" He looked up at me and smiled slightly then looked back at his feet.
"Um, I- I want to tell you something, bu- but I- I'm" He spoke softly.
"What is it?" I asked, trying to figure out what was going on.
He looked up at me and lifted his hand to my arm, smiling warmly.
"That's the jacket I got you, isn't it?" He asked
"Ye- yeah" I answered.
"Wh- what was it you were going to say?" I asked, my voice cracking slightly.
Suddenly I could feel Ashley's lips against mine.....
