Unwanted return of a memory...
"Come on lets go in here." Ella said grabbing both me and Sammi, and pulling us into Hot topic. "Jesus Ella, calm down." Sammi said, rubbing her arm. "Sorry, I just love shopping with you two, Its so fun."
"It's ok, just dont injure us in the prosses." Sammi said sticking her tounge out at Ella, making her laugh. As we were walking around, Sammi froze, staring straight ahead. "Whats up?" I asked confused. "Oh...Nothing come on lets leave, theres nothing in here for us." She said grabbing me and pulling. After a few minutes of squirming, I pulled free, and looked in the direction she was staring. I froze in horror. There, standing about 10 metres away, was Kevin. The exact man I never wanted to see ever again in my life. "Sammi..." I said starting to panic."Come on lets go." she said pullng my arm. We turned and walked as fast as we could, pulling Ella along with us. We suddenly heard him shout at us. "Hey Scarlett, Sammi!" We speed up, trying to leave the shop and hopefully get lost in the crowd. We heard him start running after us, Making us run even faster. We were to late, he caught up with us, grabbing mine and Sammi's arm and pulling us backwards. "Well theres no need to run." he said smirking at us. "Just piss off Kevin. Nobody wants you here so go back to where you came from." Sammi snarled, pulling me closer to her. "I only wanted to say Hi." He said looking me dead in the eye. I looked down, not wanting him to see the terror that had now spread across my face. "After all you've done you expect us to want to talk to you! After everything you've done to my best friend!" she said pushing me towards Ella, who then took me into her arms. "Yeah dude, She's mine now so back off otherwise I'll break your face." Ella said. Kevin laughed, making me flinch. "You beat me up? Ha, your nothing more that a little girl who dont know right from left." He said, I could feel he clenching her fists, so held them, and gestured to her not to do anything to him. Ella was strong, But Kevin was easily 10 times stronger. "Just piss off Kevin. She has a boyfriend now and she dosen't need you!" Sammi said, grabbing me and Ella, and starting to head out of the door. Before we could though, Kevin grabbed any arm, and pulled me towards him, so we were now face to face. "So whats this about a new boyfriend? What happened to together forever with me then aye?" He said, there was a clear annoyance in his voice. "I-I..."
"Let her go you dick splash." Ella said, grabbing me back, and hugging me tight, so kevin couldent grab me back. "Oh whatever. I'll see you later; Scarlett." He said, smirkina at me, and then walking off in the oposite direction. "Come on lets go." Sammi said, pulling me and Ella who were still clinging tight onto eachother, out of the shop and into starbucks. Once we had sat down, Sammi went to go and get Coffee, and Ella pulled me into another tight, warm, rose scented hug. "It'll be ok Scar, No one's going to hurt you." She said, as I burst into quiet sobs into her leather jacket. "It'll be fine Scar, Andy will be back in a few weeks, and were still here." Sammi said, putting down the tray of coffee's and sitting down next to me.
"But what if he finds where I live?" I said, looking at Sammi for a solution,
"He wont, the odds are 1 million to 1." Sammi said, squeezing my shoulder. "But he might, he always finds a way to get his own way, in every situation, and he knows that I'm scared shitless of him." I said, steading my hand, so I could take a sip of coffee. "Listen, when you told me about what happened when you woke up screaming that one night, I was scared, but I know you can pull through this. He's not going to hurt anyone, espcially not you. Were here, the boys are here, Andys here, were all here for you, ok?" Ella said, looking me dead in the eye. "But he could hurt you trying to get to me."
"Doubt he'll do that. Trust me we're way to strong, and you've gotten stronger in the last year that you have ever been. You'll be able to cope." Sammi said. "You think so?" I asked, looking down at my hands in my lap. "Of course! your one of the strongest women I've ever known, even through everything you've been through!" Ella exclaimed, Grabbing my hands. "You can do this, you just need to believe in yourself that you can."
"I'll try." I said looking up at Ella and Sammi. "Trust me. You'll be fine." Sammi said grabbing both me and Ella into a tight hug.
