I Gave It All

Claudia's POV~~

Jake pulled away from me and he held my hand tightly, giving it a little squeeze, letting me know that he's there. I sniffed and wiped under my eyes with my shirt. I finally stopped crying and I was just solemnly sitting on the couch, staring at my knees. My eyes felt itchy and swollen from crying a bunch, and I expected that. Andy and Jinxx came stomping down the hall, well Andy did. Jinxx just sorta dragged his feet along the floor. Jinxx looked at me and say in front of me a few feet away. Andy saw me and came running to give me a bear hug, but I moved to Jake's lap. I wasn't in the mood for a bear hug.

"Aww why'd you move?" Andy whined. I just looked up at him and back down to my knees. Jake pulled me back into him and he kissed the top of my head. The room was silent, like they couldn't talk or they'd get punished.

"I'm gonna.. I'm going to take a shower." I said. I looked up at the guys and saw them looking at me.

"Alright." Jake said. He kissed my temple and I made my way to the bathroom. I took a quick shower and then got out and got dressed. I left my hair wet and un brushed. I went back out to the living room feeling better.

"You okay now?" Jake asked. I smiled weakly.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I said as I sat next to Andy on the floor.

"That's good. What do you want to do today? Spend the day with me?" Jake asked.

"I'd love that... but first.. Andy, where's my bear hug?" I asked. He smiled and hugged me tightly. I laughed and Andy let go.

"That was a very beautiful noise to hear, you know that, right?" Jake asked.

"What was?" I asked

"Your laugh, silly." Jake said. I smiled and walked over to him, kissing him for a minute. We pulled away and Jake looked at me with a smile.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked, also smiling.

"Are you going to go brush your hair?" He asked. I was surprised he didn't ask about my makeup.

"Nope. I'll put it up in a ponytail though." I said. Jake smiled.

"Alright then. Shall we go?" He asked.

"We shall." I said ad I grabbed a hair tie and slipped my flip flops on. We said goodbye to the guys and we walked outside to Jake's car, where he opened the door for me.

"Thanks." I said, pulling him in for a quick kiss. He grinned and closed the door, then went to his side and got in. Jake started the car and the radio started blaring some Justin Bieber, which I quickly turned the volume all the way down.

"What, don't like JB?" Jake asked me while he tried to hold in laughter.

"Obviously not." I said with a smile.

"That's okay. I don't either." Jake said. He took his eyes and one hand off the steering wheel and he took my hand in his. He turned back to the road and we rode in silence, enjoying each other's company. Jake pulled up to the mall and we got out and walked inside, immediately heading over to the food court. We got our food and sat down across from each other.

"Let's hope that this food... is good." Jake said as he stared down at his Chinese food. I looked down at my tacos and nodded my head.

"Yeah. Let's hope so." I said. I picked up a taco and took a nice clean bite. I swallowed and looked at Jake who was still chewing.

"Amazing." Was all we said before we started to dig in. We both finished and then we left. We wandered around the mall, hand in hand, talking about nonsense. We spotted a store that looked pretty interesting and went inside. When we came out, we weren't impressed. There was nothing good in that store. We went into the plaza, and there was a giant fountain, so we sat on the edge of it for a bit.

"Having a great time with your boyfriend?" Jake asked with a cheesy grin. I laughed and it echoed around the mall.

"I am. What about you?" I asked.

"Well, I don't have a boyfriend.. unless you're a guy, then I'm having a fantastic time." Jake said. I laughed once more and so did Jake.

"Fine then, having a great time with your girlfriend?" I asked. Jake turned to look at the spot next to him and he pretended to put an arm around someone. Then he started talking.

"Yes, girl I've never seen before. I'm having an amazing time with my girlfriend. Her name is Penelope.. Penelope Clearwater." Jake said, gesturing to the empty space next to him. I laughed more and pulled Jake into me, kissing him with such force, it surprised him. I placed my arms around his neck and pulled him closer before we both pulled away, grinning.

"Gosh. Someone's jealous of Penelope." Jake said. I rolled my eyes and pecked Jake's lips once more before standing up and pulling him up with me.

"Can we go to hot topic real quick?" I asked.

"What for?" Jake asked.

"I wanna buy something." I said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"No shit. Let's go." He said. We both walked hand in hand to hot topic and we entered. I went over to their wall of shirts, dragging Jake with me. I finally found the shirt I wanted. I made Jake close his eyes before I took one off the shelf in my size. I led Jake up to the counter and I payed. I grabbed the black bag off the counter and told Jake he could open his eyes now. He kept bugging me, asking me what I got.

"You'll see it when we get home." I said in the car. Jake sighed in defeat and we continued home in silence, hand in hand.

Once we were home, I gathered ask the guys into the living room and told them to wait there for the surprise. I went to mine and Jake's room and quickly changed shirts. I then walked out to the living room, telling them they could look. They all opened their eyes and took in the shirt, reading the words: If We Stand Together We Will Be Unbroken. Jake and Andy smiled.

"You bought our shirt for bullying. That's awesome." Jake said. I smiled.

"I wanted to surprise you with it. Looks like I succeeded." I said. They all nodded, huge smiles plastered on their faces.
