What the Hell Just Happened?!
Hey. My name is Ashley Purdey and this story is about how my life got turned upside down.
I was walking down a dark street one night. My destination was home, when my phone started ringing and I looked down at it seeing the call ID that said 'Jinxx' and answered it.
"Hey baby!" I said hoping that my boyfriend could make my day better than it had been.
"Hi." Jinxx said. I looked at my phone confused making sure I had read the name right. When Jinxx calls he's usually really happy, but this time he sounded kind of depressed. I put the phone back to my ear.
"What's wrong." I asked.
"Ashley, I don't think we should be together anymore. Your just not the man you used to be, and I feel like I have a roommate instead of a lover. You never even touch me or really ever talk to me anymore." Jinxx replied.
"What are you talking about all I've ever done was love you! You've always told me you were happy with me! You know what, fine, whatever. I don't care!" I said back trying not to get upset, but not succeeding. I started blinking back the tears welling up in my eyes.
"Now let me.." Jinxx tried to say before I cut him off.
"No you listen to me. I couldn't care less what you have to say. I thought you would never lie to me, but apparently you would cause you are now! You know what, screw you! Never talk to me again!" I yelled over the phone before I hung up on him. I was so mad that I threw my phone hard enough against the wall that it broke.
I had just lost my job, my dad, my dog, and now my boyfriend. No longer wanting to go home, I made my way to a bar called Smoke and Mirrors.
When I walked through the front door, I saw a fight heating up before my very eyes. I didn't really think much about it as I made my way over to the counter and ordered three shots of whiskey.
The woman behind the bar stood their looking at me for a second as if to ask if I was going to share them with anyone or drink them myself before she got me the drinks.
Her unspoken question was answered when she came back and I quickly downed all of the drinks myself.
One of the guys that was in the fight right when I came in fell on me, so I stood up and turned around, not in the mood for this shit.
"Hey watch it!" I yelled, soon regretting it when a hard fist hit me in the face causing my world to go black.

So what do y'all think of it some far?I plan on updating as often as I can, but between school and chores at home I don't know how often that will be, and I swear it does get better :)
