Secrets

We had just finished the show and we were all dripping with sweat and black paint. I think that it was safe to say that tonight’s show was amazing; it was a great way to kick off tour. I was now even more pumped for the rest of it. I walked back into our dressing room and instantly ran a towel across my face. My paint was running down my face and some of it had managed to get into my eyes. They stung a little but I’d get over it. I looked around and was slightly surprised when I didn’t see Jade sitting around congratulating us. But then I realized that she was still at the merch booth and would probably be there for a while. I looked over at my phone and noticed that it was flashing. I reached out and grabbed it and smiled when I noticed I got a text from Jade.

I grinned at the text and stuffed my phone in my pocket. She always sent me random cute texts during the day and they always made me smile. I stretched feeling my limbs crack as I yawned, I was exhausted and I just wanted to cuddle up with my girlfriend and sleep. But I knew that wasn’t going to happen. I ran my hands through my hair and sighed. I was glad that this venue had a shower and I wasted no time in grabbing my stuff and heading for the bathroom.

When I was finished with my shower and all dressed, I noticed that nobody was left in the dressing room. I figured that the guys were busy signing stuff for fans or had made their way back to the bus. I walked towards the stage and peeked behind the curtain. I grinned noticing that Jade was still selling stuff to some lingering fans while Matt was helping her pack up the other stuff. I decided that I’d help them out since I had nothing else to do.

As I walked over to Jade packing up our stuff, I noticed that she was walking around barefoot, while Matt was helping her pack up the rest of the merch. There were still a few fans left in the venue some were coming up to Matt to say hi and ask for autographs. I noticed some of the girls that walked up to them had asked Jade a question. She started blushing and Matt just laughed before bringing her into a tight hug and shaking his head as if to say no. I couldn't help the surge of jealousy that ran through my body as my best friend hugged my girlfriend. I know that it was just in a friendly way. But since I hadn't been able to hug or kiss her for a while it was getting to me.

Just as I was reaching them Matt had pulled off his hoodie and handed it to her. She smiled at him warmly and put it on. The girls standing in front of them awwed.

"Seriously ladies we're just friends." Matt insisted.

"Yeah Mattie is like my big brother, he's not my boyfriend I swear."

"Aw but you two look so cute together! Plus the height difference is just too adorable!" The blonde of the group of three asked them.

"Hey guys what's going on?" I asked. They all turned to look at me and the girls gasped and giggled while Matt and Jade looked amused.

"Oh hi Andy, nothing is going on just talking and packing." Jade said while folding a t-shirt.

"We're trying to make them admit that they are dating!" the blonde chirped and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh they aren't dating. Trust me." I laughed.

"But they look so cute standing next to each other! Wait you stand next to her!" This blonde was bossy she had spunk too. I just chuckled to myself and did what I was told. All three of the girls gasped.

"You too look even cuter together!" They squealed and I had fight the impluse to tell them that Jade was actually my girlfriend.

"Sorry ladies we're not together. We're both single."

"Then you two should start dating." The girl with bright blue hair chimmed.

"My brother would kill me if I dated anyone." Jade stated seriously.

"Oh we are so rude we didn't even ask you your name. We just came over to tell you have adorable we thought you were and we got sidetracked." The redhead mused and we all laughed.

"Hi I'm Jade, Jade Purdy."

"No fucking way! You're Ashley Purdy's younger sister? We didn't even know he had a sister."

"Well he likes to keep me out of the limelight, he doesn't want a lot of attention to be thrown my way, he's just really protective."

"I can see why you're so pretty." The blonde boomed. Jade was practically blushing like a mad woman at the compliments she was getting. I know that this was a boost in self esteem for her.

"I'm sorry ladies but I just realized the time we actually have to go and leave for the next show tomorrow." Jade stated sounding dissapointed that we had to leave.

"Can we get a couple of photos with you all before you leave?" Blue hair asked.

"Of course!" All three of us said in unison. We took a couple of pictures with them and sent them off on their way. Then we are grabbed what was left of the merch and brought it to our trailer. Jade hugged Matt goodbye as we stopped in front of our bus. He hugged her back and I pecked her lips quickly.

"I'll be on the bus in a second Baby."

"Okay. Bye Matt, see you later!"

"By Jade, sleep tight."

"Will do!" She saluted us before getting on the bus closing the door behind her.

"So what's up man?" Matt asked instantly knowing that something was bothering me.

"The guys are trying to get me a girlfriend." I stated bluntly.

"But what about Jade?"

"I don't know man. You know I love her but what am I going to do? I can't tell the guys we're together, Ashley would murder me. The last thing I want to do is break up with Jade. But I also don't want to have to fake a relationship with someone else. It's not fair to Jade. "

"I honestly don't know what to tell you man. But I will try and help you out."

"Thanks man." I ran my hands through my long damp hair and sighed. "I'm just so sick of hiding us. I love Jade, I really do but I've been hiding this for two years, I'm tired of it. I'm really glad that you know about us, I can finally vent to someone. I don't want her to know how I think of our relationship. I'm just so confused I don't know what to do." I said running my hands through my hair again. I needed a cigarette I was starting to get stressed just thinking about everything.

"Hey just calm down and don't think too much about it right now, just go in there and hang with you're girlfriend and try not to think about it. And don't worry about it. It's no problem that's what best friends are for. You two are cute together, I'd hate to see something go wrong. Now I have to leave and get on my bus before they leave me. I'll see you tomorrow dude."

"Alright bye Matt." I said giving him a hug before getting onto my bus. When I got on the bus CC and Jake were sitting around the living room drinking beers and having a mindless conversation. I could hear Jinxx in his bunk on his cell phone with Sammi. And Ashley was outside of his bunk putting on a clean shirt.

"FInally your ass is back on the bus we can finally head out." I turned around and looked at John looking at me with an amused expression. "You take forever man, I swear we almost left your ass." He chuckled and I just smirked as he turned around and went up to the front to talk to the driver. I walked past CC and Jake and waved while heading towards my bunk. I pulled out an oversized t shirt and some boxers.

"Where's Jade?" I asked Ash right as he finished pulling his shirt over his head.

"She's in the bathroom changing She looks more exhausted then we do. The fans buying stuff must have had her on her feet all night." He chuckled and I couldn't help but laugh a bit too. Moments later she stepped out of the bathroom in a bright pink tank and purple pajama shorts. I couldn't help but smile at how cute she looked. Just looking at her I could tell that Jade was really tired.

"Hey guys." She said yawning. "Oh I wish I could hang with you guys but your crazy fans wore me out I'm exhausted. I'm going to head to bed."

"Okay baby girl goodnight." Ashley said kissing her forehead before he hugged her. She moved towards me and I hugged her too.

"Goodnight Andy."

"Night Jade sleep tight."

"I will!" She said pulling away and I just wanted to pull her back into my arms. "Goodnight guys!" She hollared and a chorus of good nights came from all the others. She smiled at both of us again before standing on the tip of her tips to open her curtain. It took everything in me to walk into the front room and not watch her ass as she climbed into her bunk on the top. It amused me that she chose that bunk considering that she is so tiny, but I think she purposely chose that bunk knowing that I'd chose the one underneath. I shook my head and went into the bathroom to change into my pajamas.

When I finished I walked towards the fridge and took out a beer before heading to my bunk. I climbed into my bunk and reached for me phone. I had a new text and of course it was from Jade.

Goodnight Andy. I love you<3

I smiled before opening my curtain to see if anyone was in the hallway. When the coast was clear I got out of my bunk and opened her curtain a little. She was sound asleep and some of her hair was in her face. I brushed her hair out of her face and just stared at her. She was just so beautiful, and it hurt a little to know that she doesn't see what I see. Her self-esteem has always been really low and I could never understand why. I leaned into her bunk and placed a kiss on her cheek. Her eyes fluttered open and a small smile graced her lips when she looked at me.

"Go back to sleep Baby I didn't mean to wake you up." She just nodded and closed her eyes before smiling to herself.

"Love you Andy." She mumbled and I kissed her forehead.

"Love you too Jade." I whispered before pulling back her curtain and climbing back into my bunk. I grabbed my laptop and took a swing of my beer. I was slightly tired but I wasn't that sleepy. I typed in my password and was greeted with my desktop background; it was a picture of Jade and me. The guys had went out to the bar for drinks while Jade and I went out to take a walk on the beach. I had pecked her cheek and snapped a picture with my phone; she wasn’t expecting it so the look on her face was priceless. Her caramel skin had a dark shade of red gracing her cheeks as she blushed like a mad woman. The sun was starting to set and the waves crashing onto the sand made the picture more than perfect to me. It was my favorite photo of us.

When we’re alone we take plenty of photos together and they are for our eyes only. Sure anybody could go on my phone or laptop and see them, but they’d have to guess the password and nobody would ever guess what it is. It was so cliché and corny ‘I love Jade’ has been my password to everything for more than two years and I didn’t plan on changing it anytime soon. I scrolled through all the photos of us on my computer and couldn’t help but to smile like an idiot while I finished off my beer.

Some pictures were cute and simple, while if Ashley saw some of the other ones he’d beat me lifeless. In my opinion they weren’t that bad, she wasn’t naked in any of them…well that’s kind of a lie. There have been a couple of times that after we’ve had sex I just thought she looked so gorgeous that I had pulled her into my chest and snapped a few photos. Nobody could see her goods or anything; I had made sure of that. But still I would be a dead man if Ashley ever saw them, I shuddered at the thought.

Sleep was finally starting to catch up to me and I turned off my laptop. I climbed under my covers and turned off the light in my bunk. Only noise was the rest of the guys laughing and having a blast just enjoying each other’s company. I probably would have been out there with them, but I was just so tired and I didn’t want to think about anything. I was seriously hoping that the guys were not serious in trying to find me someone. But right now I wasn’t going to think about that, I was going to attempt to fall asleep peacefully and think of nothing but the beautiful girl sleeping peacefully in the bunk above me.

OMFG I am so sorry. The format on chapters 7 and 8 were wonky and every time I tried to fix it my computer would freeze. I've tried fixing it on 2 different computers and the same problem happens so I had to delete both chapters and put them back. I thought I could put them back in without having to delete chapters 9-30 but that's not the case so I ended up having to delete all those chapters so everything would be in the right order. I'm fixing putting everything back right now. So sorry for this.
