I didn’t like this mission that the guys were on to get Andy a girlfriend one bit, but there wasn’t anything I could do about it. I just smiled and nodded in agreement even though I was against the whole thing. I don’t want to see some girl hanging off of my man’s arm. I’m not a jealous person girls drool over Andy almost every day, but this is different. This whole thing could lead to my biggest fear, Andy falling in love with someone else. He could finally be in an open relationship with someone. He could be free to do what he wants with whoever he wants. I know he says he loves me and I know that he means it, but sometimes love just isn’t enough to make someone stay.

I tried shaking myself of my thoughts and tried focusing on my work. The guys were going on soon and I had a checklist of things that needed to be done before they went on. The band playing before them was almost over. I was so busy trying to keep things in order that I forgot what band was playing right now. I was backstage watching the guys finish off their makeup and sighed.

I was careful not to rub my face because Ashley decided that I should start wearing warpaint as well. I didn’t really mind but my face was itchy and I wanted to scratch so badly. My makeup looked exactly liked his but he put a big broken heart on my right cheek. The guys like to call me the unofficial girl member of Black Veil Brides since I’m always on tour with them so I’m now required to dress up with the guys at shows. I was wearing a big poofy black dress and heels. I would have preferred to wear boots, but the guys hide them so I could only wear heels. I made a mental note to beat them up later.

“Jade you look adorable.” CC cooed and I just rolled my eyes. I was still mad about the heels.

“Thank you CC. You guys have to be on the side of the stage in five minutes so hurry up. I’m mainly talking to you Andy!” I stated sternly and they all laughed.

“I’ll be done in like ten seconds.” He said messing with his eye makeup. I stifled a laugh and walked over to him.

“Sure you’ll be done.”

“I’m all finished!” He shouted putting down. He looked at me and smiled evilly.

“Why are you looking at me like that?”

“No reason.” He said smirking while picking up the paint again.

“You already have enough on you, you don’t need anymore.”

“This isn’t for me, now hold still.”

“Wait what?” Before I could even comprehend what was happening Andy had cupped my face in his hand and was lining the right corner of my mouth with the paint. I just glared at him but he was too focused on what he was doing to notice me stare.

“Finished!” He cheered. “Now me and my baby match.” He whispered in my ear causing me to shiver. I turned to face the mirror and smiled when I realized that Andy and I now had the same stitch on our mouth.

“I love you.” I mouthed and Andy squeezed my hand. “Alright now that you’re all set we gotta get you to the stage now come on!” I said starting to shove him towards the door. Since the rest of the guys were already at the side of the stage.

The other band had just gotten off the stage and I realized that it was Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows when I saw Andy’s best friend Matt walk towards us and dripping with sweat.

“Hey Andy! Have a killer show.” He looked down at me and furrowed his eyebrows. “And who is this gorgeous girl?”

“Matt it’s me Jade.”

“Holy shit you look so different.”

“Yeah I know Ash finally started letting me wear what I want.”

“Is he letting you date yet?”

“Of course not.” I laughed and he laughed with me.

“Sucks, you and Andy could finally stop sneaking around.” Both of us froze at his words. How the fuck did he know? “Guys calm down I’m not going to tell, I don’t want Ash to kill you dude.” Matt explained patting Andy on the back.

“How did you know?” Andy asked and Matt just shrugged.

“How could I not? I thought it was obvious you two just fit. Well and once I saw you two kiss. I swear I won’t tell.”

“Thank you Mattie. If you weren’t dripping with sweat I’d hug you.” I stated smiling.

“Anytime J.”

“It actually feels kind of nice knowing that someone knows, kind of like a small weight’s been lifted.” I chirped and they both just laughed at me.

“Yo Andy get over here you’re almost on!” Jon hollered over at us.

“We’ll see you later Matt.” I said starting to walk towards Jon. Andy said something to Matt quickly before catching up to me. All of the guys gathered around each other and started to do their cheer that they do before they go on. I just watched in amusement.

We walked towards the side of the stage and soon enough the lights grew bright, their intro music started playing and the crowd went wild.

“Rock their world’s guys!” I shouted in support. They all hugged me before running off onto the stage. I watched for a couple of minutes while they started off with New Religion before walking backstage and back to the merch booth. I still had to hold that down, it was my job after all. I smiled as I watched them from the table. They really are amazing.
