The whole time we were at the beach I just managed to sit and do nothing on the towel. It was nice because Andy was with me the whole time. By the time we left I was panting and sweating from the heat. It was making me dizzy, sleepy and I just didn’t feel well. But I didn’t tell Ashley I wasn’t feeling good, if I did he wouldn’t go out to the bar with the guys, he would stay home and take care of me. He’s done enough for me already he needs to go out and have fun and not worry about me. Plus I get to have Andy all to myself now without anyone around.
“Are you sure you’re going to be okay by yourself? I could always stay home if you’re afraid to be alone.” Ashley asked me for what was probably the thousandth time. He was standing by the front door ready to leave.
“Ash I’m not going to be home alone, Andy is going to be here. You know he wouldn’t let anything happen to me.” I said from my spot on the couch, Andy was in the kitchen making himself something to eat so he couldn’t hear us.
“You know what I mean, are you really comfortable being alone with Andy?” He asked and I knew what he was implying and I sighed.
“Yes Ashley I’m perfectly fine, I’ve been alone with Andy before, and I’ve been alone with the other guys before and I’ve been perfectly okay. You trust your friends’ right?”
“Of course.”
“Then stop worrying about me, none of the guys would do anything to harm me, you know this so go out with the guys and have fun. Andy and I will see you tomorrow.” I reasoned with him. Ashley walked over to me and gave me a tight hug.
“You’re right. It’s just really hard for me to not worry about you, you know?” Ash said pulling away from me. I shook my head in understanding, considering my past he has every reason to worry about me. “I’ll get going now, CC’s the designated driver tonight so I’ll be crashing over his place tonight. I’ll call you when I’m coming home.”
“Okay Ashley, have fun tonight.”
“You too sweetie, and call me if you need me for anything, seriously.” Ashley said and I nodded. “And leave your phone on.”
“Will do, Ashley you’re going to be late if you don’t go now.”
“Okay, you’re right. I’ll see you tomorrow, Hey Andy!”
“Yeah?” Andy asked sticking his head around the corner to see us from the kitchen.
“I’m leaving now; I’ll see you guys tomorrow.”
“Alright dude, have fun.”
“Will do, take care of her alright?”
“Of course I will.”
“Alright, have a good night guys.” Ashley said opening the front door.
“Night Ash.” We both said in unison, he nodded again before finally closing the door behind him. I sighed before grabbing the remote and flipping through the channels. I was really starting to feel sleepy and I was starting to form a headache, this always happened to me when it’s extremely hot outside. I groaned and grabbed a blanket before throwing it over my body and snuggling deeper in the couch.
“Jade? Baby are you okay?” Andy asked from the kitchen.
“I don’t feel good.” I mumbled more to myself then to him. I didn’t think he heard me anyway. Well our fun night just went out the window. I grumbled to myself and cursed myself for getting sick so easily.
“Baby I was thinking maybe we could just go out and grab something to eat, then walk around the pier. Or if you want we could just stay here and- ” Andy suggested while walking into the living room, he cut himself off when he saw me curled up in a ball on the couch. “Jade are you alright?” He asked nearly dropping the plate in his hand.
“Yeah I’m fine, where did you want to go out to?”
“Oh we’re not going anywhere you are clearly not feeling well.”
“I’m fine. Seriously we can go out.”
“Oh no missy we aren’t going anywhere, you aren’t up for anything right now.” Andy said putting down his plate on the coffee table. He walked over to me and shifted me forward on the couch before sitting down and pulling me closer so I was sitting in between his legs. I smiled to myself and leaned into his chest.
“Seriously Andy I’m fine, my stomach just feels a little achy it’s nothing serious.”
“Well I still wouldn’t feel right taking you out.”
“Whatever you say.” I said admitting defeat before leaning deeper into his chest. Andy’s hand started to sneak up my shirt and it brushed past my bellybutton ring. He rubbed small circles into my stomach and I let out a soft moan because it was stopping the slight pain.
“That making you feel better?”
“Yeah.” I pretty much moaned. Andy chuckled and continued with what he was doing. I was so focused on Andy’s hand motions that I paid no attention to the television. I closed my eyes and relaxed into his touch. Just as I was becoming overly comfortable Andy shifted so he could get off the couch. I whined before opening my eyes to look at him. He just smirked at me before kneeling down beside the couch. He lifted my shirt up again and kissed just above my bellybutton.
“I’m just kissing it to make it better.” He said before kissing my stomach just above the waist line of my pajamas repeatedly. I knew what he was getting at and I smirked.
“Didn’t you just say I wasn’t up for anything and that all I should do is rest?” I asked propping myself up on my elbows so I could look at him.
“Well that was like five minutes ago and besides you look perfectly fine to me.” Andy said looking at me with an innocent expression. I rolled my eyes and caressed his face.
“You’re so silly.”
“But you love it.”
“So true.” I said running my hands through his curls. Before I could really comprehend what was happening, Andy had picked me up bridal style and walked us towards his bedroom. I couldn’t help but giggle at his eagerness as he dropped me on his bed. He stared down at me with a mix of longing and lust and all I could do was smile. Andy moved onto the bed so he was leaning in between my legs. He was trying to be all sweet and take things slow. Not being able to take it anymore I grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him down for a kiss. I had missed his touch for so long and tonight nothing was in the way.
I woke up the next morning tangled in sheets, with fingers running softly through my hair. I opened my eyes and was greeted with the small tattoo on the side of Andy’s chest. I smiled to myself and snuggled more into his body. He chuckled to himself and squeezed my hip.
“Morning Baby.” He said before kissing my forehead.
“Morning.” I whispered sleep still evident in my voice.
“You sleep alright?”
“Better than I have in a while.”
“Good.”
“Can we just stay like this forever?” I pretty much whined.
“Maybe for another hour, but we can’t stay like this forever, Ashley is coming back eventually, plus we leave for two in days. So we can’t stay like this forever.” I was just about to make a comment on how much of a smartass he was but before I could a buzzing noise started up in the corner. We both groaned and Andy sat up making sure I was still in his arms before grabbing his phone. He sighed deeply before mumbling that it was Ashley calling. I nodded making sure to stay quite so he wouldn’t hear me. Andy answered the call and put his phone on speaker.
“Hello?”
“Hey man just wanted to let you know that I’m about to leave CC’s place, I’ll be back in like forty-five minutes.”
“Alright Ash see you when you get here.”
“Is Jade sleeping? Cause she’s not answering her phone.”
“Yeah man she’s sleeping I just checked on her a few minutes ago.”
“Alright, I’ll see you both in a bit.”
“Okay dude, bye.” Andy said before hanging up. “So much for that extra hour.” He mumbled in annoyance. I pecked his cheek before sitting up.
“We’ll find a way on tour. I am the band’s tour assistant, and since you’re such a diva when it comes to having your warpaint just right when it comes to show time I’ll be spending most of my time running around and taking care of you.” I stated in a matter of fact tone. He just rolled his eyes not bothering to deny that I was right.
“Come on lazy bones get up.”
“Five more minutes.” Andy mumbled before grabbing my waist and pulling us back down.
“Come on Andy we gotta get up, we smell like sex and Ashley being the manwhore that he is will know in an instant that something was up. So that means we have to go take a shower.”
Andy just grumbled to himself before releasing me from his arms. I slowly got up and wrapped one of the blankets around my body.
“I saw all of you last night Baby and plenty of times before that, you don’t have to cover yourself in front of me Jade.”
“I know that I’m just cold.” I said starting to leave the room. Coming up with an idea I smirked to myself and turned around to look at Andy who was just pouting to himself and looking out his window. “You know Baby…” I started to say catching his attention “A really good idea would be to conserve water.” I said with a hint in my voice. Andy instantly perked up. I laughed to myself before heading towards the bathroom. Once inside I turned on the shower and waited for the water to get warm. Just as I dropped the blanket Andy’s arms snaked around my waist.
“You know that nothing can happen in the shower right? We’re on limited time, which means you have to behave yourself.” I scolded him.
“Yeah I know. And when do I not behave?”
“Like all the time.” I said in a duh tone. Andy just chuckled before kissing my shoulder.
“Fine you’re right.”
“Damn right I am.” I said before climbing into the shower, Andy growled in and climbed in right after me. As short as this moment was going to be I decided to cherish it because with tour coming so close, I won’t have any time alone with Andy.
