Demons & Angels

Things with Chiharu have been super awkward since last night. I decided that I had to get away from that house full of men and took a walk. I walked through the garden and into a small village near the estate. I always felt bad for having such a large estate because this village was very poor and was struggling to survive. The only people that made money were the people working for me, or the traveling merchants. Homeless people were everywhere. I saw a ragged old man sitting on the ground with a torn up hat next to him. There were a few coins and rocks in there. He looked up at me and gave me a shaky smile.
"bless you" he almost whispered. I gave him a sincere smile and put a hundred soul dollars into his old hat. I saw his eyes almost pop out of his head. "I don't need all of this little lady" he said and a single tear ran down his wrinkly face. I patted him softly on the back. "you need it more than I do" and then I walked away. I made my way to the market and saw a good friend of mine! And she was female! I ran Nd hugged her. "Genesis! It's been too long!" I said after she realized who I was. She slightly blushed and bowed respectively. "Lady Karin, it's a pleasure to see you again!" Genesis never wore makeup, which is unusual for demons. Her hair was white, but with black lightning bolts running through it. She always kept her hair tied up in two buns places on the side of her head, but long thick strands of hair hung down from them. She had orange eyes and clear olive toned oriental skin. She was always very mannerful and called me Lady Karin even though we are close friends.
"How's life for you?" I asked and we continued our pleasant walk. She held her hands behind her back casually.
"well, I'm starting to get the hang of Black Cat (kuroneko). I think a scythe is very hard to get used to at first." Genesis uses a scythe named Black Cat. It looked just like her hair except the blade was all black with a white lightning bolt running down the middle. It was a truly beautiful weapon.
"I have a group of Angels living at my house." I almost laughed. Genesis' face lit up. "I've always wanted to meet an angel! Do you mind if I go home with you?" Having Genesis at the house would be the perfect way to take my mind off of last night. I nodded and we made our way back. I slid open the back door and took off my sandals. Genesis did the same. We walked in the living to the most stupid thing ever. Everyone except Jinxx and Chiharu had one hand on the coffe table and a knife in the other. They spread their fingers and started putting the blade in-between the spaces of the fingers. Andy was singing a song while he did it.
"oh I have all my fingers. The knife goes chop chop chop. If I miss the spaces in-between, my fingers will come off. And if I miss my fingers, the blood will soon come out, but all the same we play this game cause thats what it's all about" I face palmed myself and waited for one of them to stab themselves. Two minutes later, CC ended up cutting his thumb deeply and I had to heal his dumbass. After they finished playing the stupid knife game, Genesis started to get noticed. Mostly by Jake. He tried making small talk with her, but considering how shy they both were, they mostly just giggled and blushed.
"This is the half demon Genesis." I announced and She stood up and bowed. Jake smiled and looked away. It was sooo cute! Maybe they'll end up going out! Andy grabbed my arm and pulled me close to his chest. I almost stabbed him, but he whispered something to me so quiet, I almost couldn't hear it myself.
"I need to talk to you in private." he said and I followed him out into the garden. "the archangels are on their way here. We got news from our manager. For some reason we still get cell phone reception here" That wasnt right.. It shouldve taken them at least another week to realize BVB was in the world of the souls! I growled and punched the ground. I felt the sparks of lightning fly from my fingertips.
"I better tell Chiharu and get more help." I said started to walk inside. I turned towards Andy again. "training starts in an hour, so get your angel powers ready." I said.


"THAT ISN'T RIGHT!" Chiharu growled. I threw my arms in the air.
"that's what I said!" we both were in the kitchen discussing what we were going to do. The archangels were legendary and were no laughing matter. Neither of us had ever fought one before, so we really didn't know what expect. "we might have to get help." I finally said. Chiharu looked down at the counter.
"who did you have in mind?"
"we could always get Genesis, and Treble." Treble was a beautiful siren. Her voice could cut or hypnotize you in an instant. Genesis was half cat demon, half human.
"we need more help than that" Chiharu said. I sighed.. I knew this was coming.. "We could get that pervert Hatsuharu (hat-soo-harr-oo)" I growled and scowled. Hatsuharu was... Toshiro's older brother. They weren't close at all and major opposites. Hatsuharu was tall, a giant pervert, but always had a smile on his face Hatsuharu's pervertedness got him into trouble two years ago. Toshiro and I were off fighting an entire village of insane vampires and Hatsuharu had to come with us. His horny ass got seduced by a female vampire and she turned him. Now he's a vampire and sometimes forgets to feed and has to feed on me. The only time hastuharu is ever serious is when I'm really upset or he's really mad. He does make a good vampire though, considering how attractive he is. I went out on a date with him before. To kind of see if that relationship would work. It didn't. At all. All he wanted to do was have sex, like always. But hey, you can't change a person.
I started thinking of more people... I actually did know an angel! A quite powerful one at that! But he probably wouldn't go against the archangels too.. I looked to Chiharu for an opinion. "what about Barakiel (this isn't a Japanese name I guess barah-key-ell)" Chiharu gave it some thought.
"do you think he would really help us? Isn't he one of the archangels?" Oh shit I never thought about that. Barakiel was my friend... But I made a promise to the band...
"I never even thought about that, Chiharu! We're stuck between a rock and a hard place!" By this time, Andy had joined us in the kitchen. He was smoking a cigarette and opened the fridge and took out a jar of pickles. How dare he eat my pickles!
"what's the matter you two?" he asked and took out the biggest one. I whimpered in defeat as he took a bite out of it.
"you bastard.. Those were my pickles." I whispered. Andy stared down at me and smirked. There was no way he could've heard that.
"man these pickles sure are fucking delicious" he said and started eating another one. This bitch was taunting me!
"watch yourself in the hallways bitch. No one eats my pickles and teases me about it" I growl. Andy chuckled. Dammit! He was getting amusement out of this! My pickles! He took a third pickle out and stuck it in his mouth. I jumped on the counter and bitch slapped him, causing the pickle to fly out of his mouth.
"there's a special place in Hell for people that eat my pickles." I say and take the jar away from him. Andy held his face in shock.
"that...fucking....hurt" he said slowly. I struck a victory pose and held the pickles protectively in my Lap. I never lose when pickles are involved. After a few minutes I filled Andy in on the situation. "Karin.. I don't want you to go against your friend." Andy said and threw his cigarette out. I sat on the counter and my mind was off in space. Andy shouldn't feel bad. I made a promise with him, and wolves never break promises.
"I'll talk to him. He never had a problem with me being a demon before." I said and stood up. I held my arms out to my side and felt the darkness swirl around my body. My senses spiked and I could hear and smell things a lot better. I felt a tail appear behind me and start to wag and big wolf ears twitching at the top of my head.
"woah..." Andy said and turned his head away from me. I was in full demon mode. My eyes were midnight blue and my pupils were little slits. My all my teeth were sharp and could rip through metal. My finger nails were razor sharp and long and I had a top made out of black fur that cut off right under my my chest. I had black fur on my arms and legs and my feet looked just like a wolf's back feet. It felt good being in my Natural form. I caught Chiharu staring.....not at my face.
"is there something on my face, Chiharu?" I growled. He looked away from my tits and blushed. "s-sorry" I opened a portal and went to the angels portal where they transported to earth. On the ground there was a giant cross burned into the grass. I stood in the middle of it and felt sparks of lightning fly out of my hand. I shot several bolts Into the sky and howled. Barakiel said that's how I should summon him if I ever need him. I saw the clouds part and silver wings fly down from the sky and land right in front of me. Barakiel was standing in front of me... And he wasnt happy....
