Since I didn’t sleep a wink at all the night before I decided to get up out of bed and cook breakfast for me and Andy. He must have smelt the food since he wrapped his arms around my waist from the back while I was cooking over the stove. He rested his head on my shoulder.

“Watchya making?”

“Eggs, for me and you” I smiled

“Sounds yummy”

I put the eggs on a plate for him and I and we sat at his little table.

“Meg, you look really tired, did you even sleep?”

“I couldn’t”

His face was serious.

“Can you lay down? For me? I don’t want you to get sick”

“I can try”

“Good” – “We have to take you back to your aunts house today huh?”

“Yeah, I don’t know what to do, I don’t think I can’t handle breaking down without you around, my mind is warped from what happened last night”

“You can call me anytime, I do mean anytime, you will see me very soon I can promise you that, even if I have to sneak in your aunts house”

I kissed him on the lips

After we finished eating, Andy gathered my stuff, he had to take me home at some point. I was in pure misery the whole car ride over. My aunts’ car wasn’t there yet. I invited Andy inside; he came down into my room and tucked me into bed. I did feel really sleepy now.

“Meg, I promise I will answer the phone ANY TIME you call, I will come to your side no matter what, I love you”

“I will always be there for you, I love you”

He kissed me on the lips. I kissed him back. Then he slipped out my basement window. There was so many butterflies in my stomach, I wanted to go a little further but I kinda stopped it since I thought I looked like crap without sleep. Andy disagreed and claimed I looked beautiful anyway. He knew I didn’t feel well either. Within minutes I was asleep thinking of my love.

I didn’t want to leave her. I knew she felt better by my side. If she ever wanted to see me again I had to leave anyway with the possibility of her aunt catching us and preventing us from seeing each other. I want to kill those men for what they tried to do. She doesn’t even kiss me the same now, she is still shaken. It will take some time. I know it isn’t just Meg that’s being a tiny different and scared, Jinxx did call me this morning and told me how Sammi is acting the same as Meg.

I parked in front of Ashley’s house; he said I could stay in case Meg needed something. I had a key to his house. He was sitting in the living room watching T.V.

“Hey man, how’s Meg?”

“Bad, she didn’t sleep, she hardly ate, I could see the distress in her eyes when I had to leave her side for only a few moments, I am really worried”

“Its only been 15 hours since it happened, its not like she is going to get that out of her mind over night”

“Your right, It just hurts me to see her like this”

“It hurts me too”

I looked at Ashley’s hands, they had bandages and some of his fingers were bruised.

“Jeez Ash your hands!”

“I was really angry last night, I wanted to beat that guy until he stopped breathing”

“The idea of anyone touching her like that against her will”

“I know”

“Makes me sick”

“Andy, I want you to know that Meg truly cares for you, and if you don’t show that you care for her just the same, she will be crushed and I think it will push her over the edge this time knowing how hurt she got over her last love”

“I know, that is why I have to be careful, she is different, I feel that if I hurt her I couldn’t live with myself”

“That is why you can be with her and I can’t. You have more power to control yourself and stay devoted to someone. I know for a FACT I would hurt her.”

“I know your feelings for her are strong Ash, you’re my friend, but I can’t let you hurt her, she told me the other day that you were her best friend, you have to promise me you will never try to be more than that with her”

“Don’t worry, I promised myself”

“thank you”

I decided to send Meg a nice text so she would have something nice to wake up to

“Andy?”

“Yeah?”

“What of you hurt Meg?”

“I don’t know, I honestly don’t know”

An awkward silence passed

“Wanna hang with the guys tonight?” Ashley said

“Sure”

Ashley called up the guys. Jinxx said he couldn’t make it since Sammi Doll was so scared to be alone. I wish I could be there for Meg.

~~Megs point of view~~

I slept a couple of hours, my aunt was home when I woke up. She was so quiet. The only thing she said was do the list of chores I wrote down. It was a lot. I’ll admit it, I had been slacking on them. They were stupid chores to. Like cleaning the baseboards. What the hell? I was going to object, but………….ya know.

I just decided to go back to sleep. Sleep puts off my life for a moment. I checked my phone before I went back to sleep. I got a message from Andy.

“Remember babe, I love you, I will always be there when you need me, I’m at Ashley’s tonight, so I am close <3”

“I love you more” I replied

I immediately fell asleep after that. I woke up some time at five in the afternoon. I went upstairs and found my aunt making dinner. Breakfast for dinner! My favorite!

“So Meg?”

“Yeah?”

“the neighbors tell me you made friends with the boys down the street”

O.O SHIT SHIT SHIT

“I uh, I can explain”

“I’m not mad deary, they are nice boys, they helped me move some things in my house a few months ago”

“So I can still see them?”

“Yes, it’s good that you’re making friends, your parents said you need to anyways”

“So you don’t think they are “Bad”? “

“I thought they were until I actually met them”

“Thank you so much!”

I texted Andy right away telling him the good news.
