I waved at the guys, then said goodbye to Sammi before walking into my house, my arms full of bags. "Back mom!" I called, and she came out the kitchen smiling. "Hello sweetie, how was it?"
"It was great, got some cute stuff, and had a laugh with the guys."
"Good sweetie, told you you'd find some friends."
"Yeah, their all awesome." I said, unzipping my overnight bag and grabbing all my dirty clothes, putting them in the washing. "So, want to watch some Batman with me sweetie?" She asked, putting down two mugs of hot chocolate, and I nodded, grinning at her as she put the DVD in the player, and the movie begun. Half way through the movie my mom turned to me, smiling. "So, noticed there's boys there, any that you think are cute?" She said, and I giggled. "Mom!"
"What!? We've always been more like sisters than parent and daughter, so come on, spill." she said, taking a sip of her coffee. "I don't know...there's sort of one, but I'm not sure about him yet, weather he's just a friend or something more."
"so what's his name?"
"Sonic...I mean Andy."
"Sonic?"
"We have nicknames for each other, He calls me Sparky and I call him Sonic."
"Aww, that's cute, and a good sign. If you have nicknames then it could show you know each other more than maybe others."
"Mom, your doing it again."
"Sorry sweetie. Force of habit." She said, and I giggled. She used to be a councillor, and sometimes the tone of voice and use of words seeped through.

"So do you like him?"
"I don't know. I mean h's really nice and cute, but I don't think I know him well enough to like him."
"Well you better give me the details if you change your mind because as a mother and a nosey bitch I need to know." she said, and I laughed. "Ok mom, will do." I said, finishing my hot chocolate and running my fingers through my hair and sighing. "I really need to redo my hair, my roots are showing big time." I said, looking at my roots. "Well what colour do you want to go next?"
"I'm stuck between keeping it black or making it blonde. But I can't choose." My mom smiled, playing with my hair, before snapping her fingers. "I have an idea..."

I woke up and looked at my new hair. I smiled, and shut off my alarm, looking in my wardrobe for something to wear for school. I decided on a white tank that said 'I'm sorry it's just that I do not care at all', my skinny black ripped jeans, ankle studded boots, a leather jacket, along with my normal make-up and straightened, freshly dyed hair. I grabbed my school bag and walked downstairs and met my smiling mom. "You know that hair really suits you." She said, and I smiled. "Well it was your Idea." I said, smiling. Since I couldn't decide on a hair colour I had gone both, literally. My right side of hair was black, and my left was blonde. My mom was training to be a hairdresser so she did it with her professional dyes and it turned out looking awesome. I was wondering what the guys would say, in particular Andy. I quickly ate my breakfast, said goodbye to my mom, and left the house, walking next door to Sammi's.

I knocked on the door, and she opened it. She looked at my hair, and grinned. "Oh my god,....you look amazing with that hair! It suits you." She said, coming outside. "Thanks, I'm happy with it."
"Why did you do it like that?"
"Because I couldn't decide what colour to do my hair."
"Wow, were did you get it done?"
"My mom did it for me."
"Wow, would your mom maybe do my hair? I mean it needs re doing and I haven't got the money to go to the hairdressers."
"I'm sure she wouldn't mind, she's training to be a hairdresser and needs stuff for her Portfolio so I'm sure she wouldn't mind. I'll talk to her later and get you to come around."

"Awesome, your the best, and also...you might turn Andy's head." she said, and I giggled, smiling at her. "Sammi would you cut it out. Were friends."
"Yeah, friends, friends that sit on each others laps, bite each others tongues, fall asleep on each other, have pet names for each other...come on Sunset, it's plain that you two have designs on each other."
"We don't, at least I don't have anything on him. He's my friend."
"And you two flirt like hell, I promise you that he will not stop staring at you when you turn up today."
"Fine ok then, if he does I'll give you five dollars, if not you give me five."
"Deal." she said and we shook hands, walking through the school gates. We walked over to the guys, and Andy's head snapped towards us. "Hi guys." Sammi said, and I smiled. "Oh my god Sunset! Your hair..." Ella said, coming over and feeling it between her fingers. "Jesus..I never thought you could get sexier but apparently you can." Ashley said and I rolled my eyes. "Thanks Ash, I'll take that as I compliment." I could feel Andy's eyes burn into me, and I sighed as Sammi nudged my grinning from ear to ear. "You owe me." She said, before walking to Jinxx and kissing him lightly.

I smiled and walked to Andy smiling. "Hey Sonic."
"Hey Sparky." He said, a sudden smile appearing on his face. "Hey Sparky, nice hair."
"Thanks, thought I'd have a change for once."
"Well it really suits you, like Ash said in pervy code." He said, and I laughed. "Well I took it as a compliment so either way it's fine." I said, and the bell went, and I sighed, following the others to class.
