I sighed, looking into the darkness as Andy slept beside me. No matter how hard I tired I couldn't sleep, and it felt like I had been lying away for hours and hours. I sighed, and gently got up off the bed, careful not to wake Andy, and walked over to the window, looking out over the dark street which was only lit by yellow lampposts. I looked down it, and I saw two men walking down the street. They were dressed in dark clothing, mumbling to each other as they walked. One looked up at me, and I saw that it was Dan from school, the one who nearly started a fight with Andy. I turned around just to check that Andy was still asleep before looking back. Dan was now the only one standing there, the other one continued walking down the street. He smiled at me, and I smiled back. He gave me a small wave, and I smiled. I opened the window slightly, and looked out, and he gently walked forward facing towards the house, looking up at me.

"Why are you walking the streets this late?" I asked, and he shrugged his shoulders, looking up at me. "I don't know, me and my mate just....felt like it."
"Well he seems to have left you now."
"I know, he does that, but I know my way back."
"I sure hope so. Aren't you new here?"
"yeah, but I heard so were you a few weeks ago."
"How...how did you know that?"
"People at school...they gossip."
"Oh of course, that never changes." I sighed, sighing. "So this is where you live?" He asked, and I shook my head. "No, this is Andy's house. I'm just sleeping over."
"Oh no wonder your awake at this time." He said, smirking. "Oh shut up Dan, we haven't been together that long."
"But will you?"
"Personal question much." I said, and he looked up at me. "Sorry. I didn't mean anything by it."
"You better go home, it's late."
"well you should go to sleep then."

"Babe who is that?" Andy asked, and I spun around to see Andy sitting up, leaning against the head board, his arms folded. "No one." I said, quacking turning back to the window. "See you at school."
"Sweet dreams princess." He said, and I quickly shut the window. "Who the fuck is calling you princess?"
"No one Andy, just some dick head who's pissed off his face."
"Didn't seem to pissed to me." Andy said getting up and walking over to the window, peering out. I saw his grip of the window sill tighten as he saw Dan, and Dan quickly looked down at the floor. "That fucking-"
"Andy."
"I'm gonna fucking kill him..." He mumbled, leaving the room. I quickly followed him as he walked downstairs, and out through the front door.

"Hey! What the fuck do you think your doing calling 'my' girl princess!?" He yelled and Dan looked up, growing smaller by the second. "Look dude I meant nothing by it I-"
"Then don't say it! What the fuck do you think your doing!?"
"I-"
"Just shut the fuck up!"
"Andy stop it!" I yelled, grabbing his arm, but he threw me to the ground. Dan turned on his heels, and ran down the road, Andy shouting abuse after him. I stood up, and brushed myself down, glaring at Andy before walking back inside. I lay down on the bed, and Andy walked in after me and guilty look on his face. "I'm sorry...did I hurt you?"
"No, but it doesn't stop me being annoyed with you." I said, and he looked at me, his blue eyes filled with sorrow. "I'm sorry, but I'm sick of him hitting on you."
"And you should know I pay no intrest in him, I love you so theres no need for you to get protective."
"I know, I just love you."
"I love you too, but this has to stop."
"It will."
"Promise me."
"I promise." He said, and I smiled, nodding, gently kissing him.
