The Dragons Love

"S-step mother?" I choked out. Everybody was looking between myself and Star in shock. I glanced up at Ashley with wide eyes and he had this hopeful look. From him I looked at Skylar who just kind if looked at me sheepishly. "I mean I guess so. If you guys really want me to be." I said hesitantly. I was immediately deafened by a shriek and a pulled into a crushing hug from Star. I looked over her head at Ashley pleadingly. He stepped foreword and touched her shoulder but she jerked away and moved behind me while glaring. I looked between the two in confusion. Ashley looked hurt and Star looked disgusted. She and I would have to talk later. Ash and I might not be on the greatest terms right now but nobody was going to disrespect my family or mate without good reason. We managed to get to know Skylar a bit better but Star wouldn't really talk to anyone. She kept glaring but she would try and talk to me about shopping and violin a lot. It seemed to be the only two things this girl cared about. We were all about to go to bed when Ashley stopped. "How are the bunking arrangements going to work?" He asked. I smiled cruely. "Jake and Ella in one. Andy and Juliet in one. Jinxx and Sammi. Cc and Christi. Skylar. Star. And me in the big bedroom while you sleep on the hard uncomfortable cold unforgiving couch. Have fun darling." I purred before standing up and heading back to bed with Ashley's indignant cries coming from behind me.
