"Holly jeezus. Thank the gods that over!!" I screamed as we walked off of the schools football field. I quickly took off the vibrant blue robe and cap they had basically forced me into and threw them at Ashley. "I'm free!!!!!!" I screamed. People were giving me dirty looks while my family just watched me laughing. I had just graduated highschool and I was so glad that it was over. I hated school with a burning passion. But my mom and dad told me I had to finish highschool at least.
They aren't my real mom and dad but I respect them enough to do what they say. My real mom had died over a year ago and Sammi Doll and Jinxx Ferguson had adopted me. I was their only child as Sammi couldn't have any of her own. And they spoilt the mess out of me. So did the guys.
The guys of the famous band Black Veil Brides were my family. Jinxx was my dad. Andy, Jake, and Cc were my brothers. And then there was Ashley Purdy. He was the love of my life. My mate. He would be mine until the day we died. Our dragons had chosen each other and though we had problems at first now we were as happy as we could be.
After a few minutes of dancing happily I spun around and ran to Ashley who was already prepared and jumped into his arms. He laughed as I pecked him on the lips as then monkeyed around so I was on his back and he was giving me a piggy back ride. We reached the parking lot and I quickly slid into the drivers seat of my black Chevy corvette convertible. I slid the top back and Ashley jumped into the passenger seat. I shot a grin to Sammi. "I'll meet you at the house in an hour okay? I have to go get ready." I told her. She nodded and climbed into her own car.
Before she even shut her door I had fish tailed out of my parking space and zoomed out if the parking lot. I was going well over the speed limit until I hit a red light. I managed to slow down an roll to a stop in front of it. I kept one hand in the wheel while my thee was clutched firmly in Ashley's grasp. I looked over to smile at him before readjusting the black wraparound sunglasses on my face. I was about to turn on the radio when I heard someone whistle. I felt Ashley stiffen and growl.
I turned in my seat to see the guys in the car next to us oggling both my car and me. One of them finally spoke. "Hey man. Why would you let your pretty little girlfriend drive such a nice car?" He said. I snorted. "Hey dude. This car belongs to the pretty little girlfriend." I said with a laugh. "Oh yeah and why would a sexy little thing like you have a car you probably don't even know how to drive?" He asked. "Hunn I could drive this car better than you with my eyes closed." I growled. The guy frowned. "Why don't we put that to the test then. Race me." He said. I laughed outright. "Alright. Follow me doll. Oh and try to keep up." I said as the light turned green and I started darting through traffic.
I soon reached a turn off that led to one of the back roads that nobody else used I pulled to a stop and soon the other guys pulled up beside me. I slowly climbed out of the car. I walked over to the guys and motioned for Ashley to start filming with his phone. When he did I tarted talking.
"Alright the race rules. We start at this light. When it turns green we go. The end point is the third light down the road. There are three curves but other than that it's a fairly straight shot so there's no room for cheating. First one to the third light wins. Do you got that?" I asked patiently. The guy who was going to drive was eyeing me hungrily from head to toe. "How about we make this more interesting babe? How about when I win you have to ditch that emo fag and I get to take you and that pretty little car of yours home?" He said with a sneer. I cocked an eyebrow and smirked. "Alright but if I win you owe me two hundred dollars and I get to keep your car." I said. He laughed but agreed. We shook hands. "Alright we shook hands and its all on film. It's legally binding now. So kiss your car goodbye babe." I said as I walked back over and climbed into my car and started her. I pulled to the starting line and shot a smile to Ashley in the passengers seat. The other guys were riding in a Ferrari but judging on looks I could handle my car better than them. They pulled up beside us and revved their engine. The light turned green. I quickly shot foreword. One hand on the wheel and one on the gearshift. The other guys weren't far behind and I didn't have enough lead to eclipse them yet.
We rounded the first curve with me still ahead. But when the second curve came up they somehow got the primo inside positioned and passed us. I cursed but wasn't far behind. I knew that the last curve you would have to slow down for. Seeing as I didn't have the inside position if I slowed down I would lose. I smiled knowing what I was going to have to do instead of slowing down I pressed the accelerator reaching up to 150 on the speedometer.
I watched them slowing. Saw one turn to laugh at us as the rounded the curve but his smirk fell when I reached the curve still speeding. I herd Ashley curse but quickly downshifted into fifth gear and spun my wheel. The back if the car caught up with the front. We drifted through the curve and I straightened out ahead if the others and in the inside position. As we reached the finish line I topped out at 178.
I finally pulled to a stop and the other guys came roarin up beside us moments later. They were fuming. "What the hell? That wasn't legitament and your sure as hell not getting my car!" He said. I smirked. "Sorry but you have no choice. And that was legit. The rules never specified that we could drift. It's not my fault I handle my car better than you. Now if you don't mind the money and keys please?" I said with a smile.
"Fuck you bitch." He spat. The smile fell off my face and I climbed out of my car. I walked around and grabbed the guy buy the front of his shirt. "Bitch. You owe me. And I will collect whether it be willingly or not. So are we going to do this the easy way or the cold way?" I said with a feral smirk as the temperature dropped. The guy started stuttering and tripping over his words. After a moment he reached into his pocket and handed wad if bills without looking at them and then held up his keys in a shaky hand. I grabbed them and tossed him a smirk as I turned around.
I tossed the keys to Ashley and he climbed into the Ferrari. Both of the guys now stood on the side of the road looking scared. "Nice doing business with you." I said with a laugh before taking off with Ashley on my tail.
