Isabel's P.O.V.


The phone rang four times before he answered. "Hello?" Jake groaned.

"Uhm... hey, I need to talk to you about something."

"And it couldn't wait until it was not 7:30 in the morning?"

"No.."

"Well what is it?!" He asked angrily.

"Jake... I'm pregnant and I think you're the father..."

"What do you want me to do about it?"

"I don't know... I just.."

"Well when you figure out what you want from me, call me back." He said and hung up.

I put the phone back into my pocket and silent tears began to stream down my face. "How did it go?" Ana asked walking back into the living room.

"Horrible."

"How?"

"First he was mad about me waking him up and now he's pissed because I told him I'm pregnant and I don't know what I want him to do about it."

"Awe.. I'm sorry he's being a dick." Ana said hugging me.

"Its okay. There's nothing I can do about it now." I said leaning my head on her shoulder.

"I can drive you to his house and you can talk to him face-to-face?"

"Later."

"Okay, is there anything I can get for you?"

"No, but thanks." I said sniffling. I wiped the tears away and tried to smile.

"Let's go somewhere to take your mind off of all of this."

"Okay" I whispered and wiped the remaining tears off my cheeks.

"Let's go get some ice cream then go to the park." Ana said and I nodded following her outside into the sunlight. I pulled my hood over my head and dragged my feet along.

"Cheer up." Ana said ordering our ice cream.

"I tried, it didn't work." I sighed, as we began walking towards the park. I sat on an empty swing and silently ate my ice cream.

"The park always cheers you up!" Ana yelled.

"Not today... nothing will." I sighed.

"Fine." She sighed, "if you wanna be depressed, I guess I'm gonna have to let you..."

I said nothing. "Please tell what will cheer you up?" Ana said when I didn't reply.

"Nothing... well I take that back, if I can go back in time and never agree to hangout with them that would cheer me up. No Jake. No baby."

"I'm sure you and Jake will love that baby once it's here."

"No, because Jake hates me."

"The baby's not here yet, okay? Give it time."

"Fine. Its 12, I think I've given him enough time. Take me to his house, please?"

"Okay." She sighed and we began walking towards our building.

"I hope he's in a better mood."

"Probably not."

"Gee, thanks for the encouragement." I sigh and she laughed. We arrived to the parking lot in about 10 minutes because the park was near by. We got into her car and drove to Jake's apartment. I slowly and reluctantly got out of the car.

"Remember, you wanted to be here." Ana sighed.

"I know."

"I'll stay here."

"Okay..." I said and walked to his apartment. I knocked softly on the door and waited.

"What is it now?!" Jake asked.

"I need to talk to you."

"Fine." He said and harshly pulled me inside, slamming the door shut, "talk." He said and sat on the couch.

"Well..." damn it, I hadn't really thought about what I was going to say.

"Okay, apparently you didn't listen to me earlier. Next time you come talk to me, know what your going to say. For starters, you said you were pregnant?"

"Yeah." I sighed.

"And you think I'm the father?"

"Well, yeah. You're the only guy I've been with."

"What do you want me to do?"

"I don't know. Maybe be supportive!" I said angrily.

"It's not my fault you're a whore."

"I'm not!" I yelled.

"Well you're pregnant aren't you? Next time don't be so easy." He said shaking his head.
