Isabel's P.O.V.


I sat on the couch and stared blankly at the screen. Why couldn't I stop thinking about him? Suddenly the door flew open and Ana walked in angrily.

"Uh, you have heard of knocking right?" I asked sarcastically.

"Not now!" She yelled.

"What's wrong?" I asked. I've never seen her this angry.

"Jake!" She said angrily clenching her fist and pacing the floor.

"Calm down." I sighed, "what happened?"

"He's an asshole!"

"And this is news to you?" I asked shaking my head.

"No, but I didn't think he was that much of an ass."

"What did he do?"

"Nothing."

"Doesn't sound like nothing."

"Just let it go! I came to check on you."

"Well I'm alive so, I guess I'm okay." I said.

"How are you doing with your feelings for that idiot."

"Uh... fine I guess... there's really nothing I can do about it."

"Okay, well I'm gonna get home. I'll talk to you later, okay?"

"Kay." I smiled. Once Ana left I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I got up and checked on the kids, who were still sleeping. I decided to watch the Strangers. I went into my room, put the movie in and laid down. About thirty minutes after the movie started, there was a knock on the door. Watching a suspenseful horror movie made me reluctant to get up but I knew I had to. I slowly made my way to the door and opened it.

"You scared the hell out of me!" I yelled.

"How? By knocking?" Jake asked sarcastically.

"Shut up." I sighed and motioned him in, "what is it now?" I asked and he kissed me.
