The Unexpected
Whispers In The Dark
Ash's P.O.V.
I left the house at 7:50 so I'd be to get Ana on time. I drove down the lonely highway singing Whispers in the Dark by Skillet. When I arrived to Ana's house it was exactly 8. I got out and walked to her door and knocked softly.
"Hey." She said hugging me.
"Hey, ready to go?" I asked hugging her back.
"Yep." She smiled and we walked back to my car, "so where are we going?"
"It's a surprise." I smiled and started driving towards the theater
"Tell me." She pleaded.
"Fine." I said giving in, "to the movies then to get ice cream."
"Cool, what are we gonna see?"
"Its up to you." I said and continued driving.
"Uh, how about something scary?" She asked.
"Like what?"
"Uh how about The Roommate?"
"Okay." She smiled and I parked the car and got out. I held her hand as we walked inside. I paid for our tickets and led her into the dark theater.
"Where do you wanna sit?" I whispered.
"The back." She said softly. I found two empty seats next to each other all the way in the back and we sat down.
"I'll be back." I said and got up and left. When I can back I handed her an ICEE and sat down next to her. I put my arm around her and held her close as the movie began.
Once the movie was over, we went to Dairy Queen to get ice cream.
"That movie was creepy." She said sitting across from me.
"How?" I chuckled.
"Why would Rebecca stalking her only friend?"
"Because Sarah IS her only friend." I laughed.
"But did she really need to kill all of Sarah's other friends?"
"Maybe Rebecca thought she'd lose Sarah if she had any other friends."
"I guess."
"Okay? What if your best friend was your only friend, but you guys aren't as close as you used to be because of other people, wouldn't you feel a little possessive?"
"Not where I'd want to kill anyone!" She said shaking her head and I started laughing, "what?" She asked innocently.
"Nothing." I smiled finishing my ice cream at the same time as her.
"Let's go." I said linking arms with her as we walked to my car. I drove her home and walked with her back to her door.
"This was fun." She said, "we should do it again sometime." She smiled and kissed my cheek.
"Goodnight, Ana." I smiled.
"Night, Ash." she said and I left. When I got home, Andy and Jinxx were playing Call of Duty: black ops.
"I've beat you five times already! You can't beat me!" Jinxx laughed.
"Shut up, show off." Andy said and I tried to quickly run to my room, "not so fast!" Andy yelled.
"What?" I asked in defeat.
"How was your hot date?" He smirked.
"It wasn't a hot date! It was just a date and it went well."
"You're home so it didn't go that well." He laughed.
"Whatever."
"I'm surprised you didn't try anything." He smirked.
"Dude, she different. I wouldn't want to hurt her. I can't lose her." I said and went into my room.
