[Raven]
It's been a week since I left the orphanage. Lexi got adopted by an extremely rich couple and she told me she is having a really good time with her new older brother and younger sister. Cat and Blaze are still there, but we meet up every day. The Misconceptions is tomowrrow and I'm a little nervous.
"Hey. Hey. HEY!" Lexi shouted.
"What!" I shouted back.
"You were spacing. Anyway our clothes are gonna be like black and white. For Lost it All we're gonna do like dressy." She explained. Cat nodded, Blaze shrugged and I said "Sounds good." Lexi picks out most of our clothes and that's fine because she has the best fashion sense.

By the time we were finished shopping it was about 2:00 meaning the show was in 4 hours. "Guy's lets go. We need to get there at 5:00 and it's 2:00. It takes us 30 minutes to drive there meaning we have to leave at 4:30. Meaning we only have 2 hours to get ready considering it takes us 30 minutes to drive home from the mall, and we all know how long it takes Lexi, so we should go NOW." Blaze stated. Well damn girl when did you get so technical? Oh well. Blaze drove us to my house and we ran through the door and up to my room. "Hurry up!" I yelled. The girls came tumbling into my room and we all got out the clothes.

"Wow you guys look good." Jake said as we walked towards them. The boys agreed and Ashley said, "Wow you look hot, Raven."
"Uh, Ashley, did you just call my 14 year old daughter, hot?"
"Um, no I just-"
"Oh, so now your calling her ugly?" mom interrupted.
"Mom it's just Ashley's man-whorish way of telling me I look good. I hope." I said with a giggle
"Whatever you say..." CC said quietly.
"I heard that buster!" I said pointing at CC. "Now let's get in le car!"
We all piled in the car and were on our way.

When we arrived it was about 4:55 and so we explored a bit. I jumped on Lexi's back and she ran around the stage while people were setting up. We already got a truck to take Cat's drums here yesterday.
"Wahhh!" I screamed as Lexi fell over. She fell flat on her face with me on top of her. I got up and giggle when she said, "I think I died..." Lexi got up and ran straight up to Blaze, me in tow. "Blaze, Cat, look!" She said pointing to a group of people surrounding a stage that had a man with a head set on. He must important. On instinct we all ran over and started listening.
"Ok!" The man started. "Today is NOT a competition. I repeat, NOT a competition. A lot of you misread the flyer. This is like a show case of sorts. People from record companies will be here. This could be your big break, or the death of you. Now I'm going to announce the order. Everyone do the original songs first. Once they're done, in the same order we'll do the covers, got it?" Everyone nodded, or said yes sir or whatever. The man looked down at his clip board and said "Ok so the order... first up is Chained by You. Second is Beneath the Grey, Third is Me and My Carnivore..." The list went on for a while until, "And last but not least, Bulletproof Lovers." The man walked off the stage and the bands started walking away as well. I turned to Balze and said, "Great. We're last. They'll be tired and not even pay attention."
"Unless. We put on a good show. Then, they'll get back into it. I sighed and Lexi said, "Come on Rave! It'll be fine!"
We walked back over to the stage where dad and his band were being flocked by some random people. I chuckled and turned back to my band to see Blaze all up in some random guy's face with his band behind him. I walked in between them and said, "Um, what the FUCK is going on."
"Pretty boy here is making fun of us because we're an all girl band." Blaze said, a vein popping on her forehead. Yeah, that actually happens to her. Anyway, Really? Making fun of us?
"What the fuck?!" I yelled. "Fuck you and your fucking band" I pulled my arm back to punch him when Blaze pulled me back. I'm a street fighter, that punch would've hurt. I mean, what else do you expect from a kid who lived with no mom or dad her whole life? I screamed in frustration and started lashing out. Then of course dad runs up and say's, "Raven, what's going on?" I glared at the boy in front of me and dad seemed to understand. "Oh so now your getting your daddy to protect you?" Now you just crossed the fucking line. I was beyond mad and I jumped out of Blaze's arms and pounced on the random boy, who I didn't even know. He fell on his back, me straddling his waist. Well that sounds sexual. I pulled my fist back only to be pulled off by one of his band members. "Let me go!" I yelled. Now, this boy was about ten times stronger than Blaze, and was at least as tall as Andy. "Xander, apologize to Raven and her band." A boy with light brown hair said.
"No!" This so called 'Xander' says. The brown haired boy gave him a look and he sighed. "Fine. Raven, I'm sorry."
"Mhm..." I said looking away and crossing my arms. "Raven, now you apologize to Xander for almost punching him." Dad said to me.
"Fine. Sorry I almost punched you. I just don't like being underestimated. Like I have been all my life." I murmured the last part under my breath but I think dad caught it because he looked at me sadly. "Now will you put me down!" I said the the boy holding me. "Oh yeah sorry..." He set me down and said, "Oh and by the way, my name's Ryder."
"Raven."
"I'm Jasper." Said the boy who told Xander to apologize.
"Hi! I'm Axel!" the boy with the red under layer of hair said while waving.
"Sup, I'm Zayne."
"I'm Blaze."
"The name's Lexi."
"Cat." She said quietly looking away.
"What? I didn't hear you." Zayne said.
"Her name's Cat." I said. "She doesn't talk much. Only around us."
I turned to dad and said "Thank's for keeping me out of trouble dad." He kissed me on the forehead and said "Anytime. Good luck sweetie. The boys and I are gonna go take a seat."
"Good luck!" CC said.
"Have fun out there kid." Ashley said as he followed CC and Jinxx.
"Don't throw up." Jake said. "Wha- never mind..." I said shaking my head. Andy gave me a hug and said, "I expect great things from you." And walked away. I turned back to Blaze, Lexi and Cat and said, "Come on. We gotta go get our stuff." just as the announcer said, "Hello! Thank you for coming to the Misconceptions!"
We walked over to the car and grabbed our guitar cases and Cat's drum sticks. I could hear the bands preforming from the parking lot. Just as we were making our way back I heard a familiar voice boom, "Hello! We're Underneath the Grey and today we're gonna play a song called Whispers in the Dark!" Xander. The crowd cheered and we walked backstage. Ryder was playing drums, Xander was singing, Jasper was playing Bass, Axel was lead guitar and Zayne was playing Rhythm. They were actually really good but I was never going to admit that to them, or Xander at least.
We were watching from the side of the stage and they a couple of them shot us glances. We would just smile and wave. When they were done they ran off the stage and Xander said, "Not so confident now are we?" In a ragged voice. I ignored him and leaned against the wall. He walked away with the rest of his band and they bro hugged or whatever.
It took about 30 minutes, but it was finally the band before us's turn. Now I was getting a little fidgity. "Don't worry." Cat said to me. And I fucking listened. Cat is just one of those people who you can't ignore when she talks.
"And now we would like to welcome the Bulletproof Lovers on stage!" I got butterflies in my stomach. Not of fear, but of excitement. I took a deep breath, grabbed my guitar, and ran on stage with the rest of the girls. "Hey guys!" I yelled into my mic. "Hey!" The people shouted back. My eyes landed on dad, mom and the girls, and black veil brides. They all gave me thumbs up and cheered louder than anyone else. I laughed because that pumped me up even more. "Ok! We're gonna play a song called For Those Who Wait! This one's for all those kids out there who don't know what they're doing or what life is gonna be like, but I have one thing to say! Look up! Life will only get better from here!"
Lexi started on her Violin while I started to sing.

I looked out and saw my mom and dad smiling like idiots. Idiots that I love. I smiled back at them and continued, getting really into the song

the crowd was filled with kids who probably were really confused, like I was before. No sense of security or anything, no one to turn to. I just want them to know we have each other to turn to. I pointed at the crowd.

I admit, this song was putting my voice to the limit. It was a little high, but I can't stop now. I don't want to dissapoint anyone anymore that I already have before.

This just felt so important to me. Just to get the message across that no one should have thought the way I used to.

We finished the song and I was fucking out of breath. Everyone was flawless and didn't mess up a single chord. It was perfect. And I was fucking proud.

Hai. So this song is once again called Those Who Wait by Fireflight. I'll probably be using a lot of their songs because they have lyrics that correspond with the story perfectly. And the other song was called Whispers in the Dark by Skillet.
