Chapter Eighteen

"I'm so tired..." I mumbled as I crawled out of the car. I heard a low chuckled and I turned to my right to see Jonas smiling that cute boyish smile. We started walking behind the others a bit and stumbled on my own feet while I closed my eyes. Fuck. This is so embarrassing. Jonas caught my shoulders and said, "Woah there." With a little chuckle. I groaned a bit and he said, "You wanna piggyback ride?" He asked jutting out his lip playfully and crouching down so I could jump on. I giggled a little and hopped on and rested my chin on his shoulder. "Thank you Jonas..." I grumbled while closing my eyes. He laughed a little and I did too, my eyes still closed. We walked into the building and he set me down in a seat and I leaned on his shoulder.
"Wake up food's here!" Lexi yelled in my ear.
"Oh my fucking god! Shut up!" I yelled as I sat up.
I ate one piece of pizza and then slumped over. "Woah. Dude, you're only eating one piece!" Jake yelled. "Guys I think she's broken!!" Jake said looking at everyone. They all looked at me and I said, "Eh. Just not hungry." I said leaning on Lexi.
When everyone was done we stood up and headed over to the car. We dropped everyone off at their rightful houses and once we got to the house I ran inside hoping mom was in there. She was. And so were Juliet, Ella and Lauren.
"Mom!" I whined as I sat down. "We need to go to the store."
"Why honey are you ok?" She asked, concern evident in her voice.
"I'm pretty sure I'm on my period." I said right before the boys walked in.
"Can you guys take her?" Mom asked the girls. "I need to talk to Jinxx." They nodded and stood up. I followed them out the door to Julie's car. We all climbed in and Ella said,
"So. How's Jonas?" I laughed a bit and said
"He's good. He gave me a piggyback ride." They all 'Awed' and I sighed when my stomach started hurting.
"Fuck. I'm so on my period..." I grumbled as Juliet pulled into a parking spot.
"Ok girls. I'll go with Rave and get the tampons. Ella, you go get some chocolate, and Juliet, you go get some random shit she can eat." Lauren said. I laughed a bit and we walked over to the tampon isle. There was an 40 year old looking man there looking all awkward while picking up a box of pads. Probably for his daughter. How sad for him... Anyway I went over and picked up some Playtex tampons and pantie liners. We walked over to Juliet who was picking up some chips, candy and soda.
"Hey guys. So Rave, Twix or Milkyways?"
"Twix."
"This is why I love you." Juliet said. We met up with Ella at the check up line and bought all of our random shit.

When we got home I headed to the bathroom and sure enough, I was on my period.
Once I was done doing my business, I had changed into some comfy pj's even though it was only 4 in the afternoon. I walked out and collapsed on the couch next to mom. She put her arm around me and gave me some chocolate.
"Thanks..." I mumbled and stuck it in my mouth. Juliet got up and turned on a movie. I think the boys were upstairs. I ended up stretching out with my head laying down on mom's lap, watching the movie aimlessly and began dozing off until Andy came running down the stairs breathless. He was smiling like an idiot and was looking as excited as ever.
"Guy's we're going to dinner. This is very important. Please wear something nice." He rushed back up the stairs and we all looked at each other and shrugged.

Once we got to the restaurant we were seated and the waiter asked for our drinks. I asked for a ginger ale for my stomach and the boy winked at me. I rolled my eyes and placed my elbow on the table then rested my chin on my hand.
"I like Jonas better." I said under my breath. The girls chuckled, but the boys seemed totally oblivious to what just happened. He came back with our drinks and 'accidentally' dropped a slip of folded up paper in front of me. I scoffed and undid it. Seven numbers. I rolled it back up and 'accidentally' dropped it on the floor. Mom saw and said, "Good job hon. Stick with one man and one man only." I giggled a little and she turned back to everyone and continued with their small talk. They boy came back and took our orders.
"Oh ma'am I think you dropped this." He said picking up the piece of paper I dropped on the floor. I looked up at him. "Um no. I don't believe I did." He picked it up and put it in front of me.
"Why don't you take a look. My name's Nathan, by the way." He winked and I rolled my eyes again. Everyone laughed at me and began talking again.
After we finished our food Andy randomly stood up. We all gave him a questioning look, including dome of the people in the restaurant. Then he did something completely unexpected. He walked right in front of Juliet and got on one knee.
