We Can Leave it All Behind

First we went to the salon to get my hair cut to the curve of my back and dyed my bangs blonde. Then we went to get clothes, in other words, more skinny jeans, black ankle cowboy boots, a black cowboy hat, a black denim vest, and a shirt that says 'I'm wht the band'.

Emma and I went to lunch at this cute local diner that wasn't there when I lived here.

"So, you get to meet my boyfriend." I started the conversation.

"Really? What should I expect?"

"Um... he's an atheist, is in a rock band, and smokes way too much."

"Oh. Lord, pleas help that man." Emma said sarcastically, and we started laughing.

My phone started buzzing, I looked down to see the caller ID, Andy ❤

"Hey baby!" I said in my southern draw.

"Uh, babe?"

"Yeah?" I asked.

"What happened to your voice?"

"Oh! That! Yeah, it's been like that, I just hid it. So it turns out, I used to live in Nashville."

"Oh. So the flight leaves at noon tomorrow, so around two where you are."

"Alright, I love you Andy. And I have a surprise for you when you get here." I smiled.

"What is it?"

"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you!" I laughed.

"Fine..." He sighed exasperatedly, "I love you, I'll see you tomorrow."

"I love you too. See you tomorrow babe."
