We Can Leave it All Behind

So I figured, while I'm on my flight, I'll reflect a little bit.

I used to live in Tennessee, When I was 14, we moved to LA. For the longest time, I couldn't stand my southern accent, so I only used it around the house.

I didn't want Andy to know, cause it was really embarrassing for me. Even Bella didn't know.

I used to hat everything about the country, but after a few years in LA, I missed it a little.

And for the rest of my flight, I thought about what it was like, before my parents hated me, before everything fell apart.

I got my bag from over my head, and got off of my plane.

As soon I stepped out of the airport and got my bearings, I decided to go to an old park I used to like to go to when I was little.

I was halfway there, when I stopped in my tracks, and realized, I didn't have a place to stay, and I had spent most of my money to buy my plane ticket, so I couldn't get a hotel room.

God, I'm such an idiot... I jumped into an alley to get out of the way. I can't go back to LA. One: I don't have enough money. And two: I couldn't show my face after I was so cowardly to leave just because a panic attack led me to it.

A few tears ran down my cheek, but then turned out to me fully stopping. I was so stupid. What was I thinking. Oh yeah, I wasn't. I'm so stupid!

"Hello?" I heard a girlish voice ask.

I raised my head to see who it was.

"I heard ya crying, and I wanted to see if I could help." The woman said.

"I ran out of money, and I have nowhere to stay." I sobbed.

"Aw, it's ok. My name's Emma, you can stay with me if you want, just as long as you help me on my farm." Emma smiled.

"I'm Jade, and thank you so much."

"No problem, let's get you back to my place."
