Thanks to SavedByCarolyn, I have written the next chapter! I am glad that you love it so far.

“We have no idea! We just started hearing it cry!” Ashley said as they all looked to each other.
“How long ago did you realize it was here?” I asked, calling the baby an it since it was wearing a neutral color.
“About fifteen minutes ago.” Jake answered.
“Well then, did it come with anything?” I asked, hoping to get some answers.
“Yeah, this gigantic bag! What does a baby even need?” Jinxx said.
“It’s a diaper bag, stupid!” I said as I began looking through it, still holding the baby.
Inside the bag I found the essentials; diapers, wipes, a few onesies, pacifiers, and a bottle. I looked at the baby, hoping it would tell me what was going on. In realizing that babies can’t talk, I kept up my search. I found a little zipped compartment, which had a note inside.
I read the out loud.
“Andy, I know that you don’t know me, you probably don’t even remember our one night stand. Well I had a baby and it is yours. I’m sorry for dropping her on you, but I could not take care of her, and I know that you would be able to. You don’t have to tell her about me. Just raise her right. I put her bassinet and all her other stuff in the storage under the bus. Please forgive me.”
“And it’s not signed,” I said as I finished reading it.
I looked up to see everyone looking to Andy. He had a blank face as he slowly sat on the couch. As we hadn’t started driving again, I asked Ashley, Jinxx, Jake, and CC to go find all the stuff mentioned in the letter and bring it up here.
I sat next to Andy and started rubbing his shoulder. I can’t even imagine what he could be thinking right now.
“I can’t be a dad,” he whispered.
“I’m sure you will be a great dad, if you really want, you can go do a dna test to see if she really is your daughter. But she does look a lot like you,” I said, trying to lighten his mood.
“No, I did the math, the time since that night is perfect for how old she is.” He explained as he sat up and looked at me.
“Well then, I guess I’m going to have to teach you and the others how to take care of a baby, huh?” I said with a smile
“I guess so, would you mind moving back to this bus, to help us out?” He asked me, with hopeful eyes.
“Yeah, that would be no problem.” I said.
Hearing the door open, we both looked to see Ashley and CC carrying a vintage looking black bassinet in, followed by Jake and Jinxx carrying bags with toys and more clothes. I turned back to Andy.
“Would you mind going to the other bus and getting my stuff? I’m going to help get all this situated.” I asked as I looked back down to the baby girl in my arms, who was sound asleep.
“Yeah, I bet your band would like an explanation too.” He said as he walked out the door.
Jake, Jinxx, CC, and Ashley were all looking at me, wondering where to put everything.
“Is there any way to lock the bassinet in place? I don’t want her sleeping in it if it will be moving around.” I said, worried
“We checked already, we are going to have to screw it to the floor.” Jinxx informed me as they started doing just that.
I stood up and grabbed the bags of clothes and the few toys. I walked back to the bunk room and set them on my bunk, so it would be out of the way for now. We will wait for Andy to get back before we decide to put all that.
The baby started crying again, right as Andy walked back onto the bus with my things. I started the ritual of bouncing, walking and shushing into her ear. After two minutes of that, she was still crying. Thinking that she needs to eat, I started making a bottle for her with the formula that was in the bag.
I sat down to feed her. As I was feeding her, the guys gathered around.
“Where should we set up her bassinet and clothes and stuff?” I asked
“We don’t use the back room for anything so we could put it all in there,” Jinxx said
They started putting everything in there, waiting to put the bassinet in last, which they had screws in waiting to be connected to the floor.
After burping this little princess, I walked back to put her to bed. I walked in to see Andy sitting there. Walking up to him, I noticed that he was staring at the bassinet.
“Do you want to hold her?” I asked
“Umm, sure, but I’ve never held a baby before so…” He confessed
“That’s ok, here,” I said as I handed her to him.
“Make sure you support her head,” I told him
“She’s so small, I just can’t believe it,” He said with a tone of wonder as he was smiling down to her.
I just stood there as he took it in. I could tell he was warming up to her. I am surprised though that she didn’t start crying once I handed her to him.
“I think she knows that you are her daddy,” I told him. He looked up to me with the warmest smile I have seen on him yet.
“I hope so, I love her already,” He said. I smiled back at him. I think I was starting to fall for him.
“Let’s put her to bed,” I suggested as I was getting tired and still had to set up my bunk.
“Ok,” He said as he got up and set her in the bassinet.
We stood and watched her for a few minutes to make sure she was okay.
“She still doesn’t have a name, maybe you should name her.” I said as I turned to him.
“I know, I was thinking about that after you read the letter.” He said as he turned to me.
“So , what did you decide on?” I asked as he took a step closer.
“I was thinking Laila, is that good?” He asked with a smile.
“I think it fits her perfectly.” I said and took a step closer to him.
“I’m glad,” he whispered as he leaned in and kissed me softly.
He pulled away and watched as I smiled and slowly opened my eyes to look at him. He smiled at me and took my hand, leading me to my bunk. I got in and turned towards his bunk at the same time he did mine.
“Goodnight Kaelyn,” He said before he closed his curtain.
“G’night Andy,” I responded as I closed mine and fell into a peaceful sleep.
