I woke up once more to quiet voices but didnt open my eyes. "Did you seriously kiss her?" I heard Andy ask. "Yeah." Ashley responded. "Dude." Jake said. "What? You guys like her too." Ashley said defensively. "Not like that, she's 17!" Andy whisper yelled. "It doesnt matter. I havent approved of all the girls you guys liked." Ashley said. "Its not like that man. Josh is awesome, but are you sure you would want to get involved with some one like that?" Jinxx asked. I decided enough was enough and softly moaned. I sat up and looked at the boys. "What did I miss?" I asked. "Nothing." they all said in sync. "Mmmhmmm." I hummed skeptically. "Your food is on the counter." Andy said motioning toward it. "Oh, thanks." I said grabbing it. "You guys sure your okay?" I asked sitting at the table. "Yep, totally." Ashley said winking. "Okay." I said going back to my burger. But I couldnt help but wonder about what I heard. What did Jinxx mean "get involved"? Did Ashley want to date me? What is he thinking? when I finished my burger, I got from the table and made the tough decision to get dressed. I grabbed a pair of jeans and the shirt Ashley gave me and walked into the bathroom. The shirt smelled like he did, warm and sugary. Like cigarettes and liquor with vanilla. Smiling, I put it on and giggled. Then, I hated myself for giggling. "Who gives a damn, Ashley Purdy wants to be my boyfriend." I said quietly. I touched the place where he kissed on my arm. I could still feel his lips against mine, the rush of blood going through my body, his energy warming my skin through my lips. The thought gave me chills. I smiled a little then rubbed my arm. the recent cuts were still prominent. I pulled my purple and blue( I dyed it yesterday) hair into a messy bun and sighed, leaning against the wall. For once, I didnt want to hurt myself. I was... happy. "When was the last time I was happy?" I asked myself quietly. I couldnt remember. The thought was unsettling. I flung open the door and stoped out of the bathroom and right up to Ashley. I didnt care the the boys were watching, I grabbed his face and kissed him, tears running down my face. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he put his on my waist. I didnt know why I did this, or when I decided to, I just did it. I didnt even think. All I knew at that moment is that I loved him, and I wanted him to be mine. Eventually, Ashley pride me off him. "Can I keep you?" I asked. "What?" he responded, obviously confused. "Are you mine?" I aksed again. "Only if you want me to be." And for the first time in my life... I was in love.
