"Come on peoples we gotta go or else we'll be late!" I yelled up the stairs and was rewarded with a pillow to the face. They've been little rays of sunshine all day long, and by that I mean that they have been kinda grumpy all day long. "Dear lord woman calm down!" Andy yelled back as Jinxx and Jake came down the stairs. We were getting ready to go the venue that the guys are playing at and we had to be there in 40 minutes and 3 of 5 of the guys weren't done and it was a 20 minute drive. 10 minutes later everyone was down stairs "Does every one have there cellphones? Because we don't need a repeat of 3 days ago." "What happened 3 days ago?" Jinxx asked "NOTHING!!" We all yelled at the same time and ran out the door. Once I made sure that we all had our cellphones, water bottles/monsters we were off to the venue in our little clown car, that I'm starting to get use to, as we got closer I got more and more excited. We went back stage and the guys got the instruments ready while Andy and I talked "I would like for you to come out and sing something, how 'bout it?" "Sure, but I don't know what I would sin- never mind. Yea I guess I could." "Awesome you will go on before us okay?" "Why not." I said with a sigh.

An hour later I was getting ready to go on stage and I was very scared even though I would never admit it. "Well as most of you know we adopted a 13 year old 'angel'" Andy said as he made air quotients around the word angel. "Well her name is Independence, she's 13 and a little spit fire if you ask us. Here she is singing Lost It All!" I took a deep breath and stepped in to the and started...

"Thank you! I will now tell the bunch crazies that I call my family to get their butts out here because you all paid to see them not me." I said as I went to pull CC on stage. Once he was on stage I ran to my front row seat

"You did good baby sister." I heard 2 voices that I have grown to know and love say from behind me. I turned around and saw Jade and Kassie. Once the concert was over we went back stage and waited for the guys to come back from the meet and greet. Once they came back we sat around and talked until Kassie said that she had to go, Jade and I got up and each gave her a hug then she wrapped us up in a group hug. We heard the door shut as she left and I knew I had to confront her now. "It's happening again isn't it? The people that adopted you are abusive aren't they? I can tell by the scarf and all the bracelets."

She gave me a sad smile and said "You're too smart for a 13 year old you know that? You're right, they tried to strangle me earlier and I've started to cut again." That sentence made me want to cry "We're going to get you out of there. Now." Jake said as he grabbed the keys to the clown car and we were out the door and on the way to Jade's house.

Once we got there CC pounded on the door and before Jade's so called 'dad' could talk Ashley said "The police are on there way right now." 'Go dad!' I mentally cheered but I was cut short when Jade's 'Dad' slapped her. OH. HECK. NO! I thought as I threw a punch at the man ,who doesn't look much older than Jake, he looked surprised that such a small girl could pack quite the punch. He tried to hit me but Ashley grabbed his hand and said "Don't you dare touch my daughter." Oh boy I can't wait to see what these boys will do when I bring home a boyfriend. So long story short this turned into a huge fight until the cops showed up and took Jade's 'dad' to jail.

"Thanks, but where am I crash now?" Jade said "With your new family of course." Jinxx said with a smile, at first I didn't get it but then I realized "Jade would like it if I adopted you?" Jinxx asked her again with a smile "Yes! Of course I would." my new/old sister squealed. Jinxx gave her a hug and I smiled, I'm gonna have another girl in the house!

Jinxx singed some papers while the rest of us helped her pack her stuff and we took her back to the house "Well, for now you will stay with Independence until we can get your room fixed up. We will go to the mall tomorrow. Not the same mall that we took Indy shopping in because Andy, Ashley, Jake and CC got us banned for life." Jade looked at me and gave me a 'What'd they do?' look and I just shook my head as if to say 'Believe me you don't want to know.' "What's your favorite color?" Jinxx asked "Red and aqua." she said almost immediately.

"Time for bed girls." Jake said with a yawn "Okay." We all replied. They each came up and gave Jade a hug and kissed me on the forehead, Jade and I went up to my room and while we got ready for bed she said "You guys seem pretty close." "Yea it's like living with a bunch of two year olds. But they are my family, and your family."

We talked for a little longer then Jade passed out and I passed out some time later thinking 'Finally I'm not the only female in the house anymore!'
