We got up and ran out the door to our "tree". Whenever either of us got upset we would go climb this tree and sit there for hours.
"Come on! Lets climb it for old times sake" said andy.
We climbed the tree and sat on a branch close to the trunk.
"We should carve our names into the tree" Andy stated, "wait, I don't have a knife on me."
"I have my pocket knife."
"Why Mo?"
"I just haven't taken it out of my pocket yet. Calm yourself."
"Okay. Okay." Andy said while carving his initials into the tree. "Adb+M... What's your middle initial?"
"it's stupid."
"no it isn't. Come on."
"Fine... It's L"
"HEY GUYS!!!" Yelled Kathryn.
"Shit" Andy mumbled
"be nice" I whispered into his ear.
"No response? Okay then. What are you doing andy?" Kathryn said slowly.
"Um... I-I um..."
"He's carving our initials into the tree" I said.
Kathryn's smile dropped to a frown.
"why would he be doing that?" She asked
" because we're dating now..." I smiled at her.
when I said that, Kathryn turned and bolted in the direction she came.
"KATHRYN!!!" I yelled. It was no use though, she doesn't listen to anybody when she's mad. I don't know why she's mad at us. I mean, it's not like she had a crush on andy or anything. Wait a minute...
I turned to Andy and whispered "FUCK."
