*beep**beep**beep**beep*. My alarm clock goes off. I hit the snooze and drift back to sleep. In my dream I'm in a world with only me and my best friend, Morgan. Without Kathryn coming everywhere with us. Without my parents abusing me. Jut me and her. Suddenly, I'm woken up to ice water being poorer out of a bucket on my bed. My mom must have notice I fell back asleep. I hate it when I do that, but I was up all night texting Morgan and I was still tired. I got up and took my beating for falling back asleep. Then I made myself breakfast, got dressed, and went to inspect this mornings bruises. When I looked, I noticed a purple circle forming on my cheek. I put on some of my "war paint" to hide it. Then I got in y car and drive to Morgan's house. Every morning, Morgan and I go to school together. I get to her house and knock on the door, but to my surprise its not Morgan who answered the door. It was her mother who looked very concerned.
"What's wrong Mrs. Maxwell?" I asked her mother.
"Morgan tried to kill herself again last night. She's been asking for you the whole time. Come in come in" she sobbed.
"She's in her room right?"
" Yes" she answered. And with that I darted to Morgan's room only to see we curled up on the floor. With blood dripping down her arm. Razor in hand.
