"We're here losers! Get up!" Andy bellows.
"Nooooooo," Ashley moans.
"Mmmfrff," is all anybody would get out of CC for another hour.
"Fuck....off," Jake says from the bunk below me.
"Oof," Jinxx says, falling out of his bunk. I don't contribute to morning noises.
The first mistake I make on Warped Tour. They all start talking, excepting CC. After a minute, they all go quiet.
"I think she's still asleep," Jake suddenly whispers. No noise after. Until......
Jake rips me out of my bed.
"OH MY GOD JAKE WHAT THE HELL!?!?!?" I try to get away, flailing and flapping my wings, beating his chest with them.
"Chill Ivy. Let's just go hang out at Warped,"
"Oh Jesus. Do I gotta?"
"Yeah, you do. Get dressed,"
"Fine," I pull on the shorts from yesterday, and change my shirt out. I yawn, spitting a small amount of sparks into the air. Yeah, I breathe fire. "Okay... food," I say to myself, hungry. I've sort of learned that around the guys, I'm not going to get away with not eating, so I've come to acknowledge my hunger, not feeding it always, but knowing it's there.
"Ivy! We're gonna get breakfast, wanna come?"
"Umm...,"
"Yeah, you do, let's go,"
"I guess I don't have a choice," I walk out with the guys. Jake shoots me a look that I don't quite understand, and wasn't supposed to see. We all finally get to a breakfast tent. The boys scarf down an angry breakfast. I don't know why, but it just seems angry as hell the way they're eating. Oh, well. I just steal bits and pieces off of Jake's plate. Then they're all just sitting. Not moving, just staring.
"What's up with you guys?" I finally ask.
"Nothing, Ivy. Nothing," Jake tells me. He's beyond tense. "You wanna go back to the bus?" it's a question, but almost doesn't seem that way. It's almost a "we're going back to the bus because these losers are pissing me off." What did I miss?
"Uh, yeah, sure. Let's go," I wave at the three guys, and they all shoot me looks, and they aren't good. I give them a very confused look back. Jake takes my hand, and leads me back. We sit down on the couch, and he pops a film in. I'm not even paying attention, just watching him. "Jake?"
"Yeah?" he sounds calmer than earlier.
"What's wrong with you guys?"
"Just set list issues," he says unconvincingly.
"Oh, okay," I leave it at that. I turn my attention to the film. Footloose. I walk back to the bunks and decide to pop my earbuds in. I'm playing Genesis when Jake taps me on the shoulder. I take the earbuds out.
"Hey, um, All Time Low is on in like 2 hours, do you wanna go?"
"Hell yeah,"
"Want me to take you?"
"Um, sure. That'd be great," ugh. I know I keep saying I don't have feelings for him, and I shouldn't, but it's just... he's so sweet and remembered that I love All Time Low, and I just don't know.
"Wanna go wander around for now?"
"Yeah, sure," I smile at him. He offers his hand. I take it, and we exit the bus to wander around Warped tour.
