Ashley:















All Ashley had ever wanted to do was meet Ashley Purdy. Not only was it cool that they had the same name, but Ashley had always been her favorite member of the band. He had so much self-confidence and it was a trait in him that she wish she had herself.

Her and her friend approached the table, both with shaking hands. She couldn’t believe she was about to meet all of Black Veil Brides. They all looked so perfect, even up close and personal. She handed her poster to CC, who signed it and looked up, smiling at her with his big, genuine smile. Next was Jinxx. She adored Jinxx’s talent for playing the violin. Jake was after that. His hair looked absolutely perfect. Finally, it was Ashley.

“My name is Ashley, too!” She blurted out as she handed the poster to him. He looked up, a little confused at first but then saw her standing in front of him. His eyes softened and his lips curved up in a flirtatious smile.

“Well, nice to meet you, Ashley.” He reached for her hand and kissed the top.

Ashley almost fell to the ground. “Th-Thank you.” She stuttered out and then moved on to Andy. Even though she knew the chances of them ever meeting again were slim, it was nice to think that Ashley Purdy had some kind of interest in her.

After the signing, Ashley’s aunt called. “Hello?” Ashley answered her phone, struggling to hear her aunt over the loud music.

“Come meet me at the front of the venue! I have a surprise!” Her aunt said.

Ashley furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. A surprise? “Well, okay. We’ll head over there now.” She said before hanging up the phone.

She looked to her friend and explained what her aunt had said. “She has a surprise for us or something.” Ashley said.

Her friend shrugged. “Well, let’s go see what it is!”

The two girls practically ran through the venue to get to the front. When they were a few feet away, they saw Ashley’s aunt standing with a security guard.

“What is she doing with a security guard? Is she in trouble or something?” Ashley’s friend said.

They continued walking towards them. Ashley’s aunt reached over and hugged the security guard before spotting the girls. “There you two are!” She waved to them. “This is an old friend of mine, Steve.” She motioned to the security guard in the yellow shirt standing next to her. “We went to high school together.”

“Hello, girls.” Steve said.

They both waved to him and Ashley’s aunt continued. “Steve here is going to let you girls backstage. Would you like that?”

Ashley’s mouth dropped open. “Of course we would!” Ashley grabbed onto her friend’s hand and squeezed to keep her from screaming.

“I’m going to escort you girls to the back where all the bands hang out, and you can meet and talk to which ever ones you like.” Steve explained.

Ashley’s knees quivered and her heart pounded in her chest. “Black Veil Brides, Black Veil Brides.” She muttered to her friend.

Steve moved them along and escorted them to the back area. There were tour buses all over the place, and a few tents set up where the bands were served food.

“Black Veil Brides is right over there.” Steve pointed to Andy and Ashley talking with Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens.

Steve saw the girls’ eyes wide with star stricken power. He pushed them along towards the three men. “Boys!” He called out. “I’d like for you to meet a couple friends of mine.” They boys looked over and smiled as they saw the two, shy girls walking over to them.

“Hey, I remember you. You’re Ashley, from the signing!” Ashley said, extending his arms and giving her a hug.

Ashley was stunned with a loss of words. “Do you maybe want to hang out for a bit?” Ashley continued.

Ashley nodded her head furiously. Ashley Purdy was into her and he was asking her to hang out. Of course she wanted to hang with him.

They found themselves sitting on a grassy area, talking about whatever came to mind. “You know, you really are my hero.” Ashley admitted.

He shook his head. “Nah, I’m nobody’s hero.”

She nodded. “You’re mine. Your amount of confidence is something I wish to have in myself. I really look up to you. You mean a lot to me.” She said.

Ashley took both of her hands in his own. He gazed into her eyes and let the moment sink in. She was beautiful, and unlike any other fan he had ever met before. Billie Joe Armstrong married a fan. Why couldn’t he fall in love with one, too?
