Andy

I groan as sunlight sneaks it’s pass the black curtains and lands on my face. I’m about to bury my head in my pillow when I can feel the contents of my stomach rise. I jolt out of bed and run into the bathroom. I sling the toilet seat up just as the vomit comes spewing out. I feel a hand on my back, rubbing it lightly. It doesn’t take a scientist to realize it’s Juliet.

Once I’m done I sit up, as I flush the toilet, and walk over to the sink so I can brush my teeth. “You know Ashley called before.” Juliet says as she leans up against the doorframe. “He wanted me to remind you that you’re going to go to the studio today to see Annabel do some vocal tracking.” I just groan as I continue to brush my teeth. “She seems really nice. I’m thinking about really hanging out with her; get to know her.”

My eyes widen before I lean down to spit out the toothpaste. “Juliet, please stay away from her. She’s not as nice as she looks.” I explain before using some mouthwash.

“She was friends with you in high school though.” She points out. “I’m sure she can give me juicy details of my boyfriend back in high school.”

“She can definitely do that.” I mutter to myself, earning a weird look from Juliet. “Please, just try not to get attached to her. She’s not ever good in stay in one place.” I quickly lie. “I don’t want to see you get hurt.”

Juliet lets out a laugh before coming up to me and wrapping her arms around my waist. “I’ll be fine.” she says before pecking my lips. “But you wont be fine if you’re not dressed by the time Ashley gets here.

Annabel

Lizzy and I are sitting outside the studio smoking a cigarette when I see Ashley’s car pull up to the curb. Moments later both Ashley and Andy are getting out of the car. Ashley is in his usual attire and same with Andy. The only thing Andy is supporting differently is a pair of heavily tinted sunglasses.

“How’s that hangover treating you Andy?” I yell over to him. A groan escapes his lips as he flips me off. I just chuckle as Ashley pulls me into a hug.

“I thought you are tracking vocals today?” Ashley asks as he lets me go and goes over to hug Lizzy.

“We are.” I tell him. “Lizzy and I just came outside for a smoke break.”

“I don’t understand why you smoke.” Ashley sighs.

“I’ve been doing it since I was 15, nothing is going to change that habit anytime soon.” I chuckle as I throw my cigarette butt away from me. “So ready to hear me sing?”

“Hell yes!” Ashley yells, causing Andy to cringe. “Sorry man.” Ashley laughs. Even though Andy has dark sunglasses on, I know he’s rolling his brilliant blue eyes. I just smile as all of us walking back into the studio so I can get back to work.

Andy

Ashley and I sit on the couch and watch Lizzy tormenting the shit out of Annabel while she’s in the vocal booth. I cant help but to laugh. I always loved how frustrated Annabel got over small things. She gets this cute look on her face which made her more adorable then usual.

“You’re staring.” Ashley mutters as he glares at me.

“Kinda hard not to stare at her.” I tell him.

“Does Juliet know anything about Anna?” He questions me.

“She only knows we went to school together.” I admit to him. “I don’t have the heart to tell her Anna and I dated.”

“You’re gonna have to tell her soon or she’ll freak out.” He says. “Trust me on this one. Carrie freaked when she found out Kina and I dated; we nearly broke up because of it.” I just sigh as I continue to watch Annabel. “I’m just watching out for you, man.”

“I’m grateful for that but I don’t need your advice on relationships.” I mutter before getting up. “I’ll be outside smoking.” With that I walk out of the studio to be alone with my thoughts and cigarettes…
