I'm a Loaded Gun (Part 2)

Questions and Answers

The sunlight was right in my eyes. I rolled over and groaned, falling. Flailing, I landed on the floor with a thud. I laid face down on the carpet, too lazy to move. "Uhhh...fuckkkkk." I knew I couldn't lay there. I pushed myself up to my feet, seeing Siren was awake, sitting in her window seat eyes swollen and red. "Oh, Si." I rushed over to her, all grogginess gone. I sat beside her, pulling her into my arms.

She collapsed into my chest, beginning to sob hysterically. "I....don't...a-and..."

"Siren, please stop crying," I cooed. "Tell me what's happening."
I sensed something changed. I glanced up, seeing Andy sitting awkwardly on the couch. "I'll go make some coffee."

His morning voice sent shivers into my spine from across the room.
Siren smirked at me through her tears, "Andy, my parents don't know you guys are here, or do they know anything...else. Rey would you mind? My parents love you and I don't want them to see me like this."

"Sure," I kissed her forehead and got up, opening the door to the hallway. I silently closed it, walking down the hall to the living room. Sure enough there were her parents.

"Reya!" her mother almost shouted as she jumped up from the couch. "What are you doing here?" She embraced me in a big hug.

"Hi, mom," I laughed. Shed always been been more of a mother to me. "Andy and I flew in to St. Louis last night and by the time we got here it was too late to get a hotel. Siren said she was here so we stopped by and ended up crashing. I hope you don't mind."

"Of course not," her dad said, standing up and also hugging me. "You're welcome here anytime. Any luck with the folks?"

I looked down awkwardly, "That'd be a no."

They both smiled understandingly.
"I'm gonna grab some coffee. I have a lot to talk about with her," I winked.
Her mom had never been the freak out about relationship stuff, like, oh my be safe, kind. She trusted us...yet again that didn't work too well. She helped me make a big pot of coffee, and got down mugs. Just as I was trying to reach up in the cabinet to get the sugar, a hand reached over me and placed it on the counter. A wet kiss was placed on my cheek.

"Good morning," Andy whispered in my ear. I almost pissed myself. Fucking morning voice.
"Hey," was all I managed. Andy said his introductions to her parents as i prepared the coffees with sugar and creamer. We thanked them for the coffee and came back to Sirens room, locking the door. She had moved to the couch. I handed her the mug and waited for her to get a few sips in. "So what happened?" I asked as I sat beside her, Andy next to me.

She looked down, ashamed. "I'm not sure. I mean- you know Ash. We have a lot of sex, especially since we moved here and we had a lot of free time together. We've been sexually attracted since we first met. It's wonderful. And I mean, Ive been on birth control, and we usually use a condom, but we got on this like crazy sex spree when I finally moved in with him and we kind of stopped using condoms. I was on birth control though. I had the implant, but it wasn't until last week that it actually fell out. And, we haven't had sex lately because he's been with his parents for almost two weeks. But...I guess the Mirana didn't work. I didn't think anything till I started throwing up last week about two days after it fell out, and I got worried when I realized that I was supposed to have my period..."
"If you're having morning sickness that means your like a month or month and a half Siren," I said quietly as I reached out for her hand. I placed my hand over hers, "Have you made an appointment? You need to be checked. If you really are pregnant, this is a time you need to know what's going on and the dos and donts. It's a critical time of growth for...uh..for the baby."
She nodded, a tear rolling down her face. "How will I tell him?"

Andy reached over me and took her other hand in his, "I don't know anything about babies but I know Ash. He loves you Siren. But he hates secrets. You need to tell him, as soon as he gets here."

"Gets here?!" she looked mortified.
Andy sighed and looked down, "I told him that Reya and I were coming here to get some stuff from a friend of hers and he replied that that was great because he wanted to surprise you and meet your parents. But you have to tell him before he even sets foot in this door."

"Wait," I said suddenly. "Andy, do you remember when you first came here that you and I went out to the dam and sat on the lake at sunset?" He nodded. "Siren, let's go out there and you can tell him there. It's peaceful and you guys can be alone."

"But there's snow on the ground. It'll be frozen."

"Even better," I smiled, squeezing her hand.
She pulled in a deep breath, "Okay as long as you guys come with me."

"Of course," Andy said. "I'll send him the directions and tell him to meet us there at noon."

"Noon!" Siren jumped. "I have to get ready! That only gives me an hour and a half!" She went straight for her bathroom and I heard the shower kick on.

I sighed and slumped backward into Andy. His arms wrapped around me. "She really thinks Ash would ditch her when he already proposed?" I whispered, enjoying the feeling of his body against mine.

"Honestly, I don't know how he'll react, Rey. Ash wants a family, but not today. Kids are a very scary thing for him. He always made sure all of us had condoms and stuff on tour." He must have felt my body shift. "I didn't ever need to use them," he said giving me a squeeze. "But I know how he is about the thought of having to care for a kid and I know it terrifies him. I'm not sure how he'll take it. He could be entirely happy and want to jump in everything, but he also could run Rey. I don't know what to expect of him. It's a lot to take in."

My body was still basically frozen. I had a thought that formed in my head and terrified me. "Andy..."
"What?"

"If...If I had ended up...the other day...would you run?" I could only hope that he understood what I was avoiding.

His chest stopped rising. "Reya..." he pulled me up higher to his body resting his chin on my shoulder, mouth against my ear. "We would have done what was best. If you wanted to keep it, I would have taken care of you and our child. If it was too much I would have stayed beside you no matter your choice."

I felt myself well up. Fucking hormones. I turned myself over so that I was sitting in his lap.

"I love you," he whispers.
I crash my lips into his, pushing him back onto the couch. He pulled me higher, and I took the advantage to tangle my hands into his hair. I felt his hands trail from my hips, down to my back pockets. He moans into my mouth as one of my hands slides down his chest. That's one problem, my hormones make me really needy. But luckily for me we are interrupted by Siren clearing her throat. I embarrassing get off of Andy and go over to my suitcase to get something to change into. I do my typical eyeliner and mascara and leave it at that, brushing through my hair that was still straight from yesterday. Andy combed through his hair and shaved his face before changing too.
We got Siren all ready and told her parents we were going out for a little bit. We got in the rental car we got, a VW passat. Ashley texted Andy that he was about ten minutes out. I could see Siren growing more nervous as Andy drove on. I didn't have any idea how to calm her down though. This wasn't something Id had to deal with. As we drove up the lake road I saw a black Cadillac sitting in a parking spot. Andy glanced at me and pulled up beside the car. I reached back and gave Sirens hand a squeeze one last time. I got out of the car, the door in the Cadillac opening at the same time. I saw Ashleys head peak out of the car. I closed my door and stepped over to give him a hug.
"Heyyyy, How are you?" Ash said as he crushed me into him.

"Doing good! I said. "Andy and I wanted to walk by the dam, do you guys wanna come with us?"

"Uhh sure," he said, looking over to see Siren. He smiled and gave her a kiss, smashing her body with his. "You up for it?"

"Mhm," she said quietly.

I grabbed Andys hand and we set into the snow. I don't think the boys were prepared for the cold because Siren and I both had snow boots one and thick jeans with our layered jackets, and gloves. The guys both just had converse, skinny jeans, and leather jackets. I walked very close to Andy, but it wasn't too bad out since there was no wind. There had been a group of benches built in a square shape with a burn pit in the center, so we made our way over to the wood benches. Andy and I sat on one, with Siren and Ash on the one next to it.

The air wasn't the only thing cold. I knew Siren was going to be too nervous. "So anything new?" Ash said trying to break the silence.

"Uh... Andy and I painted a wall at his grandmas. She's really sweet," I said.
"Yeah, we spent the night there because my dad was sick," Andy added.

"That's cool," I could Ashley wasn't very interested. He looked to Siren, "What about you, huh? You've been quiet lately."

"Uhh...Ashy...I have something to tell you," she said, holding his hands in hers. He looked frozen. "I'm...I'm preg...pregnant."

If I thought he was frozen before he was in a chrogenic freezer now. Siren was searching his eyes. I couldn't watch this. I tucked my head into Andy's neck, and he felt that I was getting anxious, so he leaned back into mom trying to comfort.

"I...I don't know what to say," Ash said, his voice cracking. "You...how long?"

"About a month I think. That's what I'm guessing," I could tell she was on the verge of tears just by her voice.
"So...You're gonna be a mother?"

"Yeah."
"I'm gonna be a...a father?"

"Yes."

"Why didn't you tell me!" he suddenly exploded. Oh shit. I heard the snow crunch as he got up. "Andy and I are going to be in the studio for the next few weeks and after that we are touring! We are going to be all over the world and this is happening too?!" I couldn't look. I kept my face buried in Andy's neck as he wrapped his arms around me. "How could you keep that kind of secret from me? And I'm guessing you guys are in on this!" he shouted, voice echoing into my body. "I cant believe this... I- this is so much...I'm gonna be a dad. I'm gonna be a dad!" he shouted. It was like the world froze. I heard him laugh, peaking through my hair to see him smooching her face, her eyes open in shock, until she melted into his embrace. He pulled back for a moment, "I love you so much." He leaned over Siren, both of them falling backward onto the bench as he climbed on top of her.

"Okay you two," Andy laughed. They didn't stop. Ashley was only pushing his chest more into hers. "Dont crush your kid," he joked.

Ashley instantly froze, his hands sliding down to Sirens abdomen. His eyes were burning with excitement, "Hey little guy."

"So your already betting on it being a boy?" I laughed.

"I think it's a girl," Siren whispered, still laying under Ashley. "But we won't know anything till I make an appointment."

"Okay," he smiled, bending down to kiss her. "We'll call when we get some time, okay?"

I was leaning into Andy, feeling a little sad honestly. I know it's really stupid, but I was a little jealous. I guess I just saw how excited they were. The time would come for Andy and I, but we both knew we had to take the precautions because this was definitely not a time for us to halt everything for a baby. Who knows what this will do to their schedule? What about the wedding? Siren would be at the very end of her pregnancy for our wedding. I'm positive she already has a dress, somehow I remember her babbling on about it. Surely she not be able to wear her dress with a swollen belly. I'll talk with all of them later. It's too cold out here.

"Come on, lovebirds," I joke as I get up. "I'm cold and we don't want her sick."

The thought of Siren and the baby sick had Ashley instantly up and leading Siren to the car. Andy just shook his head and wrapped his waist around me as he took me to the car. Siren hopped in with Ashley and I got in with Andy to our rental. We followed them out of the car, until Andy turned right and Ash turned left back to Sirens. I glanced around the neighborhood.

"Andy..." I had a sick feeling in my stomach. "Where are you taking me." It almost wasn't a question, it was a demand.

He responded by grabbing my hand, "Just trust me, okay?"

My stomach twisted again. This was not good.
