Chapter 11
It's being annoying and will let me paste in the description but nowhere else! Maybe I should comment the next chapter.. So annoying oh well.. I added more to chapter 10 too so you should read that!
Chapter 11
lolas POV
"Lola? Hallie? Is that you?" My mother yells from the kitchen, hallie puts her bags down upstairs, I set mine on the floor.
"Ya, when is Eli coming?"
"6:30. Erik's coming too." She yells back.
"this isn't going to go well.." Andy mumbles. I look at him apologetically before pulling him up to my room. He starts walking around the small space, looking at all my stuff. He turns to me and asks, "where's the bathroom?"
"down the hall to the right."
he nods and walks out. The muffled sound of humming comes from hallies room.
Hallie's POV:
my phone buzzes, it's andy?
andy: what are you doing Friday?
hallie: not much.. It's the last day of school.. Why?
Andy: do you want to come over then?
hallie: yes! :)
Andy:;)
I sigh and start humming carolyn, once my computer is logged on I open tumblr. So what if I have a band blog? I had it before I met Andy.
"hallie? Can I come in?" Elizabeth's voice comes along with a knock on the door.
"fine."
I close the lid quickly and turn to her. She looks at me guiltily. When we were younger she would always come to me to vent, before she went to college.
"What'd you do?" I sigh, she sits on the end of my bed,looking down at the floor.
"Ryan didn't cheat on me. I did. That's why we got divorced."
I nod, "ya I could tell, he was glaring at you when he came over here a while ago."
"that's not the worst part.." She looks up at me and quickly says, "I cheated with.. Erik."
"like Lola's ex-fiancée Erik!"
She nods guiltily again and sighs, "and he won't date me unless I get Lola back for him."
"that's messed up. And didn't you say you hated him?"
"I didn't, I just couldn't see them together- it hurt me hallie! You have no idea how much it hurts to see a man you love with another girl."
If only she knew..
"so he cheated on Lola... And she still doesn't know it!" I stare intensely at her, "you broke up Andy and Lola so that Erik would still be with you! Did you even mean what you said? Did you know that Andy almost killed himself over Lola leaving him- yet again- a few days ago?"
she mumbles, "I was blinded by love.."
I know the feeling..
"just get out. Go. I can't even look at you." I spit and point to the door.
"you'll understand someday." She says sadly, "Sometimes I forget how young you are, and how innocent you are too."
oh how wrong she is..
"hallie?" Lola is standing in the doorway.
"Did you hear?"
"Hear what?" She asks.
"oh.. Nothing. Eli just came to me to rant again about Ryan cheating on her and leaving her with zoey." I manage to lie convincingly enough. She rolls her eyes and tells me, "well dinners ready."
Lola bounds happily over to the stairway where Andy is waiting at the top for her, they walk down hand in hand.i let out a small sigh as I watch Elizabeth stare longingly at Erik, Erik gaze at Lola the same way, Lola's gaze is drifting off Andy to the floor infront of her feet, Andy is sneaking glances at me when able to.
We have one messed up family!

"what is he doing here!" My mother angrily exclaims when we walk into the dining room.
"What? I can't bring my boyfriend to the family dinner?" Lola replies smugly.
My parents and Erik gasp, shocked.
"Oh, maybe I should formerly introduce you. This is Andy Biersack, my boyfriend."
Andy reaches out to shake my dads hand, he accepts but looks at Andy warily as if he was to pounce on him at any moment.
"I'm frank."
"nice to meet you sir." Andy reaches to shake my mothers hand but she just scoffs and takes her seat. "Evelyn right?" Andy ignores her rude actions and takes his seat next to Lola. My dad and Erik sit at each of the heads, Lola and my mother next to my dad, Eli and I next to Erik. Zoey is inbetween my mother an me, across from Andy. She is playing on her ds.
"she already ate." Elizabeth mumbles when my mom tries to put some Brusselsprouts on her plate. I can see why.
"Parents nowadays need to teach their kids better manners. When I was a kid I always ate with the family, accepting all the food I had and always clearing my plate." My mother declares.
"she's four mom."
"so.. Andy, I hear your in a band?" My dad asks trying to avoid a fight between Eli and my mom.
"yes I am, black veil brides." Andy answers politely before adding some chicken to his plate, then to Lola's.
"isn't that a very.. Unstable career path?" My mom questions.
"it was at first, I was living in my car for a while when I first moved out here... I was only 17. But when you are extremely passionate about something you would do anything so It doesn't matter. And my band is pretty successful now, so it's not like I'll be scrambling for pennies again any time soon."
"how old are you now?"
"I'm 22." Andy smiles at my mother and says sweetly, "this good is delicious. You are a very good cook."
My mom flashes a fake smile and continues to push the good around on her plate.
"Erik, how's your family been?"
Erik looks up at my dad, "great! We're opening up a new restaurant across the city."
"Could you pass the salt?" I ask. Andy hands me the salt shaker, our hands brushing a little, making a slight blush creep into my cheeks. Eli looks at me curiously, I put the salt on my food, ignoring her.
"Andy's band is actually my favorite." I mumble, earning a slight glare from my mom, "Their lyrics really helped when Lola left."
My parents don't know the real reason why I left boarding school.
"That's nice." My mother says quietly.
"I got a job offer!" Eli pipes up, "it's at the research center, I took it."
"that's amazing honey! I'm so proud of you!" My mom exclaims. Zoey tugs on Elizabeth's sleeve and asks shyly, "momma, can I watch Dora?"
"sure sweety." She says and zoey runs out to the family room.
"Andy, could I talk to you in the hall?" My dad asks. Andy follows him into the hall, my mom immediately starts on Lola.
"why did you bring him." She hisses.
lola shrugs, "he came shopping with us so I told him he could stay for dinner."
"I don't understand what you see in him." Erik states, a hint of anger rising in his voice.
"Andy is an amazing guy who loves me with all his heart, and is the best thing that's ever happened to me.
Guilt. I feel so guilty!
"I don't understand what happened to my girls, Eli turned out fine but you two.." My mom glances between Lola and I, "I mean hallie! What is in your lip? And lola, you as well, and the tattoos and the hair color and the bands, the shirts, the skinny jeans, the eyeliner and everything else! I don't know what ever happened..."
"don't judge people on their appearances mom. I know you were judging Andy for his choice of clothes." Lola snaps, "Andy is a great man who would never hurt me."
"Eli's not perfect either." I mutter and look into my lap. My mom glares, "how dare you insult your sister like that! Apologize it go to your room!"
"I don't have anything to apologize for. I think you should be apologizing to Lola!" I should too..
eli glares at me, still with guilt all over her face. "I'll be in my room."
I grab my plate and head to the kitchen, overhearing part of my dad and Andy's conversation, "I promise I will never hurt your daughter. I know what it's like to be cheated on, my last 2 serious relationships have needed in myself being cheated on." My dad caves, "I was wrong about you Andy. You seem to be a pretty nice guy."
if only he knew the truth.
I put my plate in the sink and walk down the hall, passing Andy and my father in the hall. I get to my room and lock the door, I'm such an awful person. I shouldn't be doing this to Lola.

"hallie?" Andy knocks on my door. I open it a crack and look into his icy blue eyes, "what?"
He doesn't respond, only comes in the room and locking the door behind him.
"I overheard you talking to my dad. Andy we can't see each other anymore.." I sigh and look up at him. He steps a bit closer.
"I can't do this to Lola. Andy-" I'm cut off by his lips against mine.
"I told you we can't Andy," I whisper when he pulls away. Andy wraps me into a loving hug and whispers, "it's fine hallie, as long as no one ever finds out we aren't doing anything wrong."
"it's still wrong, you're still cheating on my sister." I whisper since there is virtually no soundproofing upstairs.
"and I told you we would stop if it gets anymore serious, it hasn't." He says and kisses me softly, I pull away and mumble, "I guess."
He smiles and kisses me again before standing to leave, "if anyone asks I was on the phone with Jinxx."
I nod as he leaves me in my room, alone.
my mother was right, I am a terrible person.
And nothing good can come from being alone...
Lola's POV
"hey I have to go help Jinxx with some guitar riffs, I'll call you later." Andy walks up behind me and wraps his arms around me. I spin in his arms and plant a soft kiss on his lips, "bye panda!"
"bye vampire!" Andy says before closing the front door. Eli is watching me, "You are so lucky to have someone like Andy there for you. It's obvious he loves you with all his heart." She says, "I wish I had that with Ryan."
Before I can respond Erik walks into the room and snaps, "what do you see in him! It makes no sense!"
"It doesn't concern you." I'm fed up with Erik! He has no right to know any of my business. "And why are you here anyways?"
"I was invited. I'm considered family."
ha! Ya right!
"Not to me!" I snap and storm off to my room, slamming the door shut to text Sammi.
Lola: just introduced Andy to my parents, family dinner included Erik though:/
Sammi: that sucks.. Congrats on getting back together though!
lola: thanks! You want to hang out tomorrow?
Sammi: ya! I want to see some of your photography!
Lola: haha ok..
Sammi: Gtg, Jinxx is home ;)
Lola: omg! Gross! Tmi!!!!
sammi: I saw your lingerie at Andy's, that was tmi.
lola: oh.. Have fun;)
Sammi: bye!

im on chapter 10 right now and this shit is pissing me off. i'm not liking this sister bullshit.. ughhh i want to stop reading because i feel like a bad person but i don't want to stop since this is a really good story..
