"Wanna come to our signing today?" Ronnie asked.

"If you want me to be there, sure." Marilyn agreed.

"It's a crazy experience to see all the fans."

They walked off the bus after the rest of the band. When they arrived at the tent, the line seemed to go on forever.

"Holy, shit. That's a lot of people. And they're all here to see you." Marilyn saw all the eager looking fans and was amazed that so many people had come to meet Ronnie and get their stuff signed by him and the rest of the band.

They all sat down at the table and Marilyn decided to go down the line to talk to a few fans.

"Hey, guys." Marilyn approached a couple of girls with Falling In Reverse CDs in their hands.

"Hi!" They greeted her back.

"Have you guys been waiting in line for very long?"

"Yeah. An hour and a half, in the beating sun, but it's worth it because we're going to meet Ronnie Radke!" The blonde girl said.

"Yeah, I hope he's nice." The other girl, with black hair, said.

"He's really nice. Trust me." Marilyn assured them.

"I hope so. Today's my birthday and I wrote him this two and a half page letter telling him everything he's helped me through and how much he means to me." The blonde girl said.

"Happy birthday!" Marilyn said to her. "May I... Can I read it?"

The girl handed Marilyn the letter. Marilyn read through it. It was one of the most powerful things she's ever read. This beautiful girl standing in front of her had been through so much and Ronnie was the reason she was standing there today. Marilyn started to tear up a little as she got to the end and the girl reached over and hugged her.

"I can't believe you're only seventeen and you've been through so much." Marilyn said.

"Yeah, so meeting Ronnie today is something I've been really looking forward to."

As the line started moving along, Marilyn went back to the tent to stand behind the table that the band was at. She saw the girl and her friend getting closer and closer to the table. She could see the excitement in the girl's eyes. She got up to the table and gave her letter to Ronnie.

"Is this for me?" He asked and she nodded.

He handed it back to Andrea who put it with a bunch of other letters. By this point, the girl looked a little disappointed.

"It's my birthday." She said.

"Happy birthday." Ronnie said as he signed her CD.

She continued on and said, "I know this isn't really going to matter to you, but I love you, Ronnie. Thank you for everything."

Ronnie didn't look up at her at all. He passed the CD over to Ryan who then passed it to Jacky. The girl looked heart broken.

After the signing, Ronnie and Marilyn were walking back to the bus.

"You, sir, are a douche bag." Marilyn said.

"Why?" Ronnie asked, pretending to be offended.

"No, Ronnie. I'm serious. What the fuck was that out there? That poor girl was heart broken and it's her birthday. I don't think I saw you smile once or look at any of the fans."

"We had to keep the line moving. You saw how long it was."

"I think you're way too in over your head. After what I saw today, I don't know if I can continue this with you."

"What do you mean?"

"Honestly, I think you just need a reality check, Ronnie. Read that girl's letter. She wrote it three times and it's two and a half pages long, written out. You seemed to blow it off like it was nothing. I think we should just... take a break. You need to realize that fame isn't everything. It's all just going to your head. So, here."

Marilyn handed him the vest and turned around and walked back out to the venue to find the blonde girl from earlier. She wanted to make sure she had an amazing birthday anyway.
