I Love You
"Audrey, wake up love." I heard and felt my mom shaking my shoulder to wake me for school.
"You're not alone
we'll brave this storm
let's face today

I love waking up to Andy's voice. "Good morning sunsine." My mother smiled at me. I really really love her. I yawned and stretched. "Good morning mommy." She gave me a super big hug. I laughed. "When you're ready love, come downstairs and get some brekfast?" I nodded. She rubbed my leg. and left. I sat up and I stretched. I got up out of bed and looked for clothes. A pair of dark blue jeans, my favorite high tops, and a PTV shirt. I went into the bathroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth and started putting on makeup. I tied my hair into a braid, and scampered down stairs. I ran into the living room and was instantly greeted by my dog, Charlie. I rubbed his head, then dropped to my knees. He put his paws in my shoulders, and I hugged him. "Good Morning Charlie!" and I kissed his nose. He's a beautiful Golden Retriever. I stood up and walked into the kitchen where I filled his food and water bowl, then I joined my father at the table. I kissed his head. "Good morning Daddy." He smiled "Good morning love." He kissed my cheek, and mom brought over a plate of foos for me. "Audrey, I know you want to go to practice tonight, so I packed extra food in your lunch bag." I gave her a thumbs up, finished my coffee and grabbed my keys. I walked back into the kitchen, and hugged my mother and kissed her cheek. "I love you mom. So much." I squezzed her tight, and she told me she loved me too. I walked over to dad, and he stood up, and he gave me a bear hug, and he kissed my cheek. "Bye babygirl. I love you, and I hope you have a wonderful day at school. I kissed his cheek. "I love you too daddy. So so very much." I let go, and then I walked over to Charlie, and I rubbed and kissed his head. I grabbed my phone and my bookbag, and then I went out into the garage, to go out to my car. "Another day in hell...Ugh...Be happy through Audrey, things will get better." And I pulled out, and went to the hellhole I called school.
The first half of the day wasnt bad. I got my head slammed against a locker once, and then I got my books knocked out of my hand. But it didn't get really bad until lunch. I was sitting outside, when my ex-boyfriend and a few of his friends walked up to me. "What's up cunt face." Adam kicked me in the leg. "Fuck off loser." and I got up to walk away. He grabbed my bookbag and slammed me on the ground. "No, bitch. You're such a wrthless piece of shit, why would I make your life easy?" his friend Phillip kicked me in the gut. "Now bitch" he grabbed me by my shirt collar and picked me up off the ground. "get out of here. Miss your last two classes of the day and fuck off, he threw me down and gave me one good last kick tp the stomach.
I hid in my car until lunch was over.
My last two classes passed on like normal.
At the end of the day, Adam and Phillip were waiting by my car. "Hey, guys I gotta get home." Adam pushed me down. "No bitch." and he kicked me in the side. He put his foot on my face and pressed down as hard as he could. I heard a snap and felt the blood drip down my face. Oh no, not again. This always sucks. I grabbed his bad ankle, and jerked. He fell on the ground in pain, and I got into my car. I waited for them to move, and then I drove home. I made sure to clean up my face before I got home, so mom and dad wouldn't worry. I walked in the doorway, and found mom reading. "I guess you didn't go to swim practice tonight?" She smiled at me. "Yeah my knee was bothering me, so I decided to rest it for the night. I went upstairs to my room, and dropped my book bag in the floor. I changed into swets, and I climb on my bed and did homework. Mom called me in for dinner when dad got home.
We ate dinner and all was normal. I fed Charlie, and he trotted into my room after getting goodnight pats from mom and dad. He curled up on his bed, and I walked into my parents bedroom. I hugged my dad and kissed his cheek, and he kissed mine. "Love you babygirl." He smiled at me. I hugged and kissed mom. "I love you darling." She kissed my cheek, and I returned the favor. "I love you too mom." and I hugged both of them one last time before going to bed.
I didn't realize until after I had climbed into bed that I left my earbuds in my car. Oh well. They'll be there in the morning. Besides, I should give my ears a rest.
I slowly drifted off to sleep
and everything was peaceful.
I fekt something nudging my hand. I swatted it away, but it came back. I heard Charlie whimpering. "What's wrong boy?" I sat up, and he ran over to the door. I pressed my ear against it, hearing banging coming from downstairs. Shit, someone is breaking in. I walked into my parents bead room, and woke up my ather. "Dad," I shook his shoulder "Daddy!" He jerked up. "Audrey, what's wrong?" I didn't say aything, for he heard the noises downstairs. He slowly and silently walked over to his closet, where he kept his gun. He grabbed it, and I grabbed my switchblade. I was better with a knife. He slowly crept downstairs. I felt a hand on my back. I jerked, but it was only mom. She had her gun as well. Damn we are one hell of a badass family! I heard muffled sounds of struggling coming from downstairs. We came down to find my father fighting with a man. I lunged, but mom stopped me. One of them was pinned down my the other. I could hear the security system going nuts. "Drop your weapons!" I heard a frantic voice say. I slid my knife into the waist band of my sweatpants, and under my shirt, so he couldn't see. He flipped on a light switch. He had my father in a head lock, and was choking him. "No!" I screamed and went for this throat with my hands. He held a gun to my father's head. "One wrong move and daddy goes bye-bye sweet cheeks." I felt tears running down my cheks. I mouthed at my father "I love you." he responded back with "I love you too. You're so wonderful. And I cant tell you how much I-" his words were cut short by a gunshot, "NO!!!!" I screamed and my father's lifeless body fell to the floor. The man grabbed ,e next. He looked at my mother. I felt the cold barrel of the gun rest against my temple. "Please..." my mother begged. "let her go. Take me instead." "No mom I love you you can't say that. " She walked over slowly and kissed me. I love you Audrey. You're everything to me." "I love you too mommy." I managed to get through my tears, when I felt the gun barrel jerk away from my head, and was put at my mother's...and then the trigger was pulled.

You depicted Andy as quite the asshole in the last chapter, especially considering that blonde character was a stupid-ass bitch — who should've been more of a one-night stand, if anything else. But what you did certainly adds a good bit
of drama that makes me want to keep reading to see what happens to Audrey
