My feet are dangling off the edge

"Hey, it's about time" jinx said as he opened the door making me smile slightly as Ashley walked into the house.

"Sorry got distracted" he said giving jinxxs shoulder a squeeze

I followed him into the house smiling to Jinxx Who closed the door behind me and gave my shoulder a small pat as we walked into the living room seeing the others scattered about the room.

Ashley fell into the couch next to Andy who was on the couch with Juliet and Jinxx took his spot next to Sammi with cc and Lauren making me have no choice but to sit in the chair on the opposite wall.

"So have you guys heard from jake?" Ashley asked taking a sip of a beer that was on the coffee table put there by one of the guys I'm guessing.

" he called about 10 minutes ago, Julia's okay, she's still going to be in the hospital for a few days but she woke up an hour or two ago, she's going to be okay" jinx said and Ashley smiled nodding

"That's a relief, she's too young"

"Way too young" Juliet added

"How old was she again?" I asked making everyone look at me while Ashley let out a laugh.

"Were you even listening when we talked earlier?" He teased and I flipped him off

"She's 17, turns 18 next year" Andy said and I nodded

"Only a year older than me" I said and they all nodded.

"so you guys have met her?" I asked an they all smiled nodding again

"we have a bunch of times she's a good kid, and jakes world"

" she really is, that's all he talks about is Julia, pretty sure out of his whole family she's his favorite" Sammi said making the others chuckle slightly

"Is she an only child?"

"No she has a little brother, I think he's 4? His names jax and she also has an older brother Colin but he's in the military" cc said and I nodded

" that's sad so she never gets to see her brother"

They shook their heads

"That's why jake and Ella love her so much, they're kind of like older siblings to her" Lauren said I nodded again

"I feel bad for the kid she's gone through a lot, it's sad to see her have to resort to this" Jinxx said

"Like what?" I asked

I guess this was learn about Julia day.

"We'll she's been moved around, she lived here for awhile before moving to Boston, and jake tells me the kids aren't too kind to her there, I know she's been through depression an it wouldn't surprise me if she does, you know" Cc said nodding towards me before continuing

"she also got mixed up with some bad people, she's experimenting with dangerous stuff just so she can try to find an outlet not to mention she basically raises her little brother"

"What about her parents?"

"Her dads always on business trips and her mom has cancer, so she has some bad days and Julia from what I hear is always taking care of him but she loves him, and takes care of him but I know she wishes Collin was here with her, she has a lot of problems and she's dealing with them the wrong way"

I nodded I honestly felt bad for her, it was like me, I had so many problems and my outlet was a problem, it lead me to the edge but I was trying to get better, something inside me hoped that she would too.

"I could see you two getting along very nicely if you ever met" Ashley said and I smiled looking at him

"Really?"

"Yeah, you're both messed up!" Cc called with a laugh making me chuckle slightly

"Thanks" Jinxx rolled his eyes at cc

"Not like that, I think what he was trying to say is she seems like your type of friend you both have so much going on, both have a bad habit, you both like the same music, you even kind of look the same" Sammi said and I smiled

"Do we?"

She took out her phone and tapped on the screen before chucking it at me making me flinch but catch it in my right hand.

"Jesus Christ Sammi a heads up would be nice" I muttered looking at the screen.

On it held a picture of Julia, she had black hair that seemed to be fading as her natural dark brown colored hair started to peak out under it. Her hair was styled with side bangs and slight layers that fell on top of an asking Alexandria shirt I smiled before tossing the phone back at Sammi.

" I can see why you'd say that" I said shrugging and they laughed before going quiet again

I yawned slightly curling into the chair as I watched them start to make conversation.

Cc looked over at me and smiled before taking the black blanket off the back of the couch and chucking it on top of me making them all laugh. I smiled before moving it off my head and curling into the chair more covering myself completely with the blanket and closing my eyes.

"Goodnight then" I heard Andy chuckle over in my direction but I said nothing as I felt myself start to drift off the whole time thinking about Julia.
