yeah, Spencer and Beth aren't really dating officially since he knows her heart isn't all in it and he doesn't want to get hurt any more than he already is. And, well, Heidi isn't the smartest of the bunch haha
the gange and blow- talk about the weirdest combo in the world, what a terrible idea to introduce a total drug noob to both at the same time! Heidi's friend is the exact opposite of a smooth operator!
why can't Spencer and Beth wake up nakie? have they not been dating? is he just on to the fact that she has feelings for Andy?
good for Spencer for not killing the bug! but that's pretty pathetic that Beth is a total pansy about bugs. even i overcame a major phobia of certain bugs to deal with them myself. it says something about her- good for her dad for not falling for it. it's a shame about Marcus. he needs prison time to shape up.
Ooh- i think you asked in an earlier post what to read? read shadowglass!! it has me so hooked it sometimes interferes with my sleep!
i write here but I don't plug my own stuff, i figure that you would read it if it sounded appealing. some of my favorite authors are Neil gaiman, Clive barker, David Mack, Stephen King, gene Wolfe, and Terri prachett. If you haven't read bram stoker's Dracula, it's a real classic too. If you mean fanfiction, there are posts in the forum about which stories are decently written where people mentioned their favorites.

thank you so much for your comment and sharing your story. It really means a lot to me and it made my day reading it. If I ever find the time, I will definitely check out your story, for sure! I'm interested to read it and don't worry about the writing quality haha we've all been there
Aww, you're welcome, dude. Also, while no one can know exactly how another person is feeling or what they are going through, I have had some parallel experiences. I have dysthymia, which is a mood disorder, and have episodes of major depression. Slang for when dysthymics have major depressive episodes is called 'double depression,' and it was when I was having several during my teenage years that I was eventually treated, though the dysthymia wasn't diagnosed until I was in college and being tested for a learning disorder. I was even briefly (obviously not with my consent) institutionalized when I was a minor, twice.
One thing i can can say is, with all of that, I still managed to get a doctorate. :0). People with mood disorders may have to fight harder than others in life, it is a struggle that most people are simply not capable of understanding. But then, when you achieve your goals, it makes it that much sweeter. It's as though you climbed Mount Everest with a broken leg. Other people may not know it, they may not be able to appreciate how hard it was, but you know. And some others will know. I know. Hang in there.
This comment copied twice so I'll erase it write something else: my one really long story (LOJ for short) has a lot of elements in it that address living with a mood disorder. Since it was the first story I ever wrote I wanted to write what I knew. However, the beginning is rough as can be, my writing has improved dramatically, it's kind of terrible at the beginning. I'm in the midst of editing it. I'll likely get more serious about that once I'm finished with it. It's also quite smutty and intended for an adult audience. ;). But you could always skip those parts, if you were interested and had the time.
