unable to submit edits to old chapters

is anyone else unable to submit edits to their old chapters? i use facebook to sign in, but the rest of my account is working fine (i have been posting new stuff). i was just trying to spiff up my oldest, already completed story to bring it up to par.

whenever i hit submit, it will accept changes to the chapter description, but not the chapter text. unfortunately, that as before i knew that you need to put something in the 'notes' section or you can have problems editing later on, but i've still been able to edit in the recent past. any suggestions? if your shit just gets too old, can you no longer edit it?

I've literally never been able to edit anything on these sites. And I sign(ed) in from Google, Yahoo, and Mibba. The site will ALWAYS freeze up and crash on me which I absolutely freaking hate. The only way I can edit is if I copy and paste the whole story somewhere, take it down, then put it back up as I go .-.

the weird thing is that i can edit Night Watch, just not LOJ. maybe if i tried a different browser? (i use firefox.)

it's just a bummer because i love my old, silly story, but the earlier chappies have major problems with grammar, format, and tense. thanks for the input, dude.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, home-slice D: but maybe if you "take it down" and copy the whole thing in Word or Google Docs, you'll give yourself more freedom to add stuff in and fix everything you wamt done :D

have you seen how long that bitch is? it's almost 200 chapters!

besides, i'd lose my eight-gazillion views. i'm not an ego-maniac, but it certainly isn't bad to look at when i'm having a rough day. ;O)

i do have it copied into word, i do all my editing and shit on there. i used to be able to edit (i did it with the chapters up until chapter 32), so i have no idea what the problem is.

i guess the 'ultimate version' will have to be a wattpad exclusive, eh?
